Loss Leader's Super Simple Telepathy Test

I am strongly receiving a number that is very, very important to you. Was this a favorite of one of your parents? Have they- it's unclear, perhaps I'm feeling strong quantum tides that lead me to chest pains. Also maybe around the head or neck.

Also something blue is important. Something to do with a favorite childhood toy. The number is associated with that- maybe not directly, but there is a spiritual link. I'm also getting a strong feeling of your wish to find closure. You want solutions, and you have a direct, open mind.

That's my guess.

Not going to guess but will ask a question just to be sure people are not making bad assumptions.

We are talking about a positive integer with a value greater than +1?

ETA: I am feeling real good about the last one. :) What about hash tags? I don't want a hash tag. A tag of hash?
What is that? A very small amount? Uh oh.

My guess is 31

As I knew it would be. It's disqualified, of course. If you'd like to enter qualifying guesses, be my guest.

Is it allowed to answer "I don't know" in your test?

Yes, and while you may be right, you will certainly not be correct. Or vice-versa.

The number I am receiving is xxx,xxx

My MD5 hash is: 0ece3d5352bfd089e614d0c401461a56

No need for double-blinding. It doesn't matter if I or anyone else knows your guess once my selection has been unalterably made. All winners will be invited to continue experiments. So if you're picking up someone else's thoughts, we'll work that out in the next round.

So, do we have to keep up the "Loss Leader" ruse or can we just call him Jenny from now on?

Wouldn't it be cool if the "random number" generator just spit out song lyrics?

If PMs cannot be read by the moderating team, how will you know whether the guess I send you is right or wrong, unless you are psychi.....

...oh....

I wish I lived in a world where people couldn't PM me after every unpopular mod decision. Most of the time, I'm not even the one who gave the infraction.

I realized I should have said 58008 and you should have said 318008.
but point taken ;)
And it is outside the range. Try: 800813, although it's only half the fun.

All 3 six-digit numbers are accepted.

You want solutions, and you have a direct, open mind.

Actually, I just want to point out how easy it is to do this stupid test right.

Absolutely. It is a string of 6 numbers where each digit is randomly 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 or 9 (except the 1st digit which cannot be zero). The fact that it is can be read as a positive integer in the hundreds of thousands range is entirely coincidental. It is 6 guesses combined into 1 with a single 1/900,000 chance of being found by guessing.

Even if I were to accept the digits in any order (which I won't), the chance of guessing would still be 1 in 1,250 (possibly).

I have created a very simple telepathy test:

I have used a random number generator to choose a number between 100,000 and 999,999. I have written it down, placed it in my desk drawer and reviewed it often. I have committed it to memory.

I next encoded that number into a simple phrase (the top couple words on a document next to me) using an MD5 hash. That hash is: 1b58f41e6c378aea0f5646747d8f999c. Again, through another site:
1b58f41e6c378aea0f5646747d8f999c.

I am concentrating on my 6 digit number (lowest possible value 100000, highest 999999).

Please post your guesses in this thread. Feel free to be swayed by others or not, it really doesn't matter. Only an exact match of the number will be counted as a hit.

Any successful individual will be invited by me to continue work on paranormal communication. Your incentive will be 70% of all money won or earned by us using this talent plus I will pay all travel, room and boarding expenses. Thus, if you know the correct answer, it is not in your financial interest to lie about it.

If you are shy about revealing your power, send me your guess by PM. Right or wrong, I will not reveal it here without your express permission. PM's cannot be read by the moderating team.

To avoid spamming, each person is limited to 3 guesses.

Have fun and remember: let's be careful out there.

1/infinity?
