Bigfoot and the Star People

After spending a long time researching Bigfoot history, when I saw this website, it immediately triggered memories of interviews with Stan Johnson. He would claim that Bigfoot is a 4th dimensional being, that was sent to earth as an emissary from the Star People. He claimed that he had time-travelled with Bigfoot to meet with the Galactic Council, which convened at the center of Mars.

You might think this is all a bit silly, however, the Bigfooters that believe Sasquatch is Supernatural in origin, have as much evidence for their case, as the Flesh and Blood Bigfooters. It is similar to the Neil Burgstahler and Erik Beckjord's belief system.

IF you were trying to convince people that bigfoot MIGHT exist. And IF you wanted them to view the current batch of pretty sketchy physical evidence regarding the creature, would you really casually mention that the animal is in fact from Uranus and can turn invisible at the blink of an eye?

Sounds reminiscent of Jack Lapseritis and his "Psychic Sasquatch." I got hold of that book to check out some remarks a long-gone poster was making about the stories it told, only to find out that there were about four people supposedly telling all the stories in the book, and they got the information by listening to voices in their heads....

Funny, but the library that supplied the book through Interlibrary Loan didn't want it back--nobody had ever checked it out before, and they thought it lacked value, so somewhere I've still got it.

We had a nice discussion here a few years back with a guy who knew for a fact that UC Berkley had a trans-dimensional bigfoot in captivity. It was... fun.

What is funny, is that the Physical Bigfooters, are commandeering some of the traits that the Supernatural Bigfooters have claimed.

Recently there has been an influx of INFRASOUND reports proliferating on the Bigfoot Forums.

I have also noticed that there are many descriptions on the internet of Out Of Body type experiences, which are clearly, some sort of induced sleep hallucination/paralysis, where the subject is lucid dreaming, and takes the ability to lucidly dream and equates it to an out of body or interdimensional experience. I believe that the Compound on the Joan Ocean home page is a place where these people gather to do such things.

So... cognitive dissonance?

That is, if you're a firm believer in Bigfoot, but have been looking for years (either in the woods or in the internet) and found nothing convincing, you can choose to question its existence, or decide to believe Bigfoot has magical skills to help it avoid detection. The latter sounds like a lot more fun to me!

With the vast numbers that believe in the supernatural, it makes sense there'd be some cross-pollination with traditional 'footers. And, it'd be interesting to explore those connections.

You'd imagine the sooperdoopernatural would be the next (il) logical step, given the dearth of biological evidence for a creature that's seen everywhere, including back yards. But some knowers are loath to go this route. For now.

Great numbers of Bigfooters are Evangelical Christians who embrace Creationism and may be believing that the world is 6,000 years old. They have an alternative explanation that would involve God creating Bigfoot and that the extreme avoidance skills are not magic but are instead God-given. The lack of fossils or other such evidence is not a problem for Creationists and especially for the Young Earth kind.

So, they just need the proper tools?

Ghost hunters quickly adopted gadgets that they crank the sensitivity on beyond spec and misinterpret the results. Surely we can do the same for supernatural bigfoot.

Damn, I had not considered that. Bigfoot's in the bible? Like, the 13th tribe or descendants of a banished Cain sort of thing?

Nah - doesn't matter, I guess. We're talking about 'footers who are actively adopting a paranormal interpretation to augment their non-paranormal beliefs. The godditit crowd is a subset. Only question is how large of one.

They're already on this with thermal devices, digital audio recorders, etc.
 
I'm not sure if Bigfoot " is in fact from Uranus" ... But I'm pretty sure it's from someone's
 
You guys better stop dissing bigfoot. He'll find you and mess you up in your dreams.
