Merged Hobby lobby and the slippery slope/SCOTUS decision

I feel any business with such an idiotic name deserves to fail regardless of its owner's insane politics. "Hobby Lobby"? I can appreciate that many four-year-olds and mental patients find rhyming clever, but in this case it's completely forced because nobody refers to a store as a "lobby". It's not what the word means. It's like if I opened a store that sold sinks and called it "Sink Rink" because "rink" rhymes with sink and is a place...except that a rink is a place for skating, not a place to purchase sinks. Or anything, really. "Hobby Lobby" just sounds stupider and stupider the more you think upon it. At the risk of sounding unduly harsh, whoever named the place should have their kneecaps hammered in backwards. Preferably in a room labelled "Hammer Slammer".

Meh. Lobby means a vestibule, reception area, or entrance hall. It also means a group of people organized to influence public officials on a particular issue. You can come up with metaphors that make sense.

Googol is a number (a one followed by one hundred zeros) so there is at least a tie to something vaguely intelligent about 'google'.

Then why are you taking the government's side?

The government is clear that HL can just cancel their health insurance plans if they don't want to comply with the law. There is a small penalty to pay for not providing health insurance, but I would think that is a trifling compared to standing up for one's religious beliefs. Or, forcing your employees to adhere to your religious beliefs while you make money off ignoring your religious beliefs. Whichever, I lose track.

In the end, Hobby has the trump care. They can play hard ball by just canceling their connection to providing health care insurance to their employees and pay the fine. The employees can go to Obama's Market Place to seek and pay for their own insurance.

Right. As I said, that's not a trump card, that is what the government has told them to do if they don't want to pay for acceptable coverage.

In todays work climate, I think Hobby's 15,000 employees are easily replaced as are the other's in the suit.

I have no idea what that is in reference to. Do you expect them to only hire people who pledge not to report violations of the ACA? Or do you imagine the family running the stores themselves? I really don't see where you are going with this . . .
