Yeah, that's a terrible interview, plain and simple. I don't accept it from Bill O'Reilly, why should I accept it from a similar crap-factory like huffingtonpost?

That is not the point of an interview, and I really don't don't care about who says it's funny, that's a stupid opinion. The point of an interview is to get the person's opinion, whether you like it or not. If' you're incapable of that, then find another line of work.

And that's the real problem with these arguments. They turn into grandstanding fistfights, and not discussions. I mentioned before the rape threats and death threats. They can go to prison, as far as I care. But if you're claiming to do an interview, do a serious interview, and not one where you call the person being interviewed "stupid".

ETA: And yes, this includes the interview that BBC show had with Alex Jones. It was funny, but it wasn't good. Why was Jones even invited to begin with. Every non-insane person, and most of us insane people know he's a clown.

See this is one reason thy I never took Huffingtonpost seriously.

And again,not the point. If you call someone "stupid"while interviewing, I immediately stop caring about you. Decent to superb interviewers don't that, the end.

ETA:And frankly, the fact that she sounds very reasonably does't help you. Sorry, but claiming "progressive" doesn't make you a friend...nor does claiming "conservative"automatically make you an enemy.

HE didn't call her stupid. He called her opinion stupid. And that was after she implied he was a clueless idiot because of his skin color and sex.

He very clearly called her opinion stupid and she responded with the exact same phrase. "You just called my opinion stupid" is what I believe she said. She wasn't herself called stupid.

I think that was unintentionally amusing, but to anyone not in the know, adblockers do not block ads per se, they block adservers; whatever content is fetched from those servers is blocked including video ads and not just static banner ads or whatever.

As a bonus, I never see YouTube commercials which play before the video content will load thanks to my hosts file.

Sacha Cohen is another one who it seems has decided he cannot be seen in public, or at least cannot interact with the media, except as one of his characters. It's a bit tiresome by now, to be honest.

When the Gorillaz appeared on the show, Colbert(character) was outraged to discover they were a fake band and stormed off the set. Colbert(real) returned in casual street clothes and did the interview segment.
