Zoo kills giraffe, feeds it to the lions, tears of rage flood the net

Wll, I think the zoo could have better utilized the death of this Giraffe. First would be to organize a Safari. I'm sure that there are a lot of people out there who would love to hunt and kill a Giraffe - and would pay some big bucks to do it. Also, you could charge spectators admission. Make it an adults-only white-tie and dinner affiair with the prices to match.
Then, after the death of our friend the Giraffe, the head could have been auctioned off as a trophy and....the Penis sold to the Chinese. I don't know why the Chinese love to buy the Penis' of exotic animals...but they just do. Just get a good price.
Then, the meat could have been BBQ'd and sold for $40/Pound. Some sausage could also be made with the scraps.
The Lions...we can feed then a sick cow - it's what they are use to eating anyways.
As far as the Lions...again we miss a money-making opportunity for the Zoo! See...a lot of stray dogs got to be euthanized daily because no one wants them. So, why not make it part of an "entertainment package" and charge people to watch Lions chase and Kill stray Dogs? Maybe throw in a few stray cats, too? It would be great entertainment. In fact, a coliseum could be purpose built for this endeavor. I figure a Colseum sitting about 100 people at tables where they can be served dinner and drimnks while they watch the spectacle unfold. Again...more money for the zooo...more money for nature. Also, old Zoo animals could be included from time-to-time. I mean, can you inagine a Chimp running around like mad trying to escape a hungry Lion. It would be a riot....and you could charge extra for the spectacle!

Giraffes everywhere should be jumping for joy!
Recent Lions vs Giraffe documentary about how lions have recently developed a taste for giraffe meat, whereas they used to prefer much smaller animals, now they risk death to bring down these giants adults all the time! No one has ever seen anything like it, now the health of the giraffe population is at stake! It's gone from 0-5% of their diet to well over 50%! It's a *********** holocaust over there! We can't stand by and let these racist bullies take over!

Well I watched the whole thing so I might as well summarize it.
Lions aren't even getting killed, they aren't even finding any injured lions. They aren't just hungry for giraffe meat now, they have become expert giraffe killers. It's not because other prey has become less available. They are "executing their attacks in broad daylight" because giraffes spend the nights in open areas they can see lions coming from a long way and outrun them, but spend the days where they can find more food.
They discover that the attacks happen in sandy riverbeds or hilly, rocky areas where the giraffes can't run away or escape easily. Lions wait for them to enter these areas and they ambush. The sick bastards!
They research the possibility that skin and ear disease make the giraffes easy targets, but the giraffes are mostly healthy. What they do believe is that the first lions learned to hunt giraffe 15 years ago when ear disease was at it's peak, and then the skills have been passed down. 3 prides who are nearby each other have become giraffe killers. If this skill gets passed on to other prides the giraffes could be truly **********.

I presume you're referring to this, where the same zoo has euthanised two elderly lions and their 2 young cubs, to make way for a new male.
Seems they did try to find a new home for these 4 animals, but without luck.

I can think of a few animals that engage in similar practices than us.
Lions themselves get up to stuff that looks pretty repugnant from a human pov, but that's just us judging by human standards. A pair (usually) of young males will eventually aim to take over a pride and the first thing they do is kill any cubs, forcing the females to stop lactating and come into oestrus. The beasts!
In this case what does look a little clumsy is that these adults had cubs only 10 months ago. Maybe the zoo didn't anticipate being unable to rehome the lions in question, dunno.

I'm not only referring to instances like this. The human race is the most callous, destructive force this planet has ever seen, toward the planet, toward its flora and fauna and toward each other. If you can name another animal responsible for the destruction of whatever it wants and sees, feel free to name it.
From where I'm sitting the only thing this planet has seen that is more destructive was a comet or asteroid hitting in the Yucatan.
