Well, great, except that is not the prophecy. You said it was this:

To be fair, epidemics can often be mysterious in their initial stages (the operative word being "initial") because several diseases have similar symptoms and it takes time to do lab tests and environmental studies and so on. Not that this validates the prophecy. It's just another prediction about how something that has happened for centuries will continue to happen.

And the Pangasinan plague is still a hoax, PC, whether you acknowledge it or not.

I think the plague refers to just one disease because there is no “mga” to make it “plural” or more than one. Prophecy 10 of 1975 states: “Sickness will spread which will almost cut-off all lives.” (Lalaganap ang malupit at mabagsik na salot ng karamdaman. Walang kahulilip na karamdaman; halos ikapugto ng lahat ng buhay.) Prophecy 14 of 1979 tells of a disease called GOTACURAL. I have explained this to Mojo.

Regarding the Pangasinan plague, we will see if the Indian prophet is right. So far, there are only two cases which have been diagnosed as leprosy and psoriasis.

It's hardly an epidemic though. It's easily preventable and by now in the western world, assuming you take your medication, it's in no way a death sentence anymore.
And it is hard to cure, but that doesn't mean it will never be curable.

You know very well AIDS appeared long before this false prophecy was published.
