The prophecies of Ama

My views, guided by the Holy Bible, are mostly similar to Ama’s. So to me, marriage is between a man and a woman only.

Do you even know what is in the bible? One of your god's chosen, Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concubine

How about you actually read your holy book and find out what it actually says. Or wallow in ignorance for the rest of your life and keep sending your money to a fakir. Your choice!

Apparently marriage is only permissible between a man and a woman. And another woman. And perhaps a few more women, if there's a nuclear war.

There are 14 prophecies listed in the Record of Life for 1976 and beyond which Marcial Aguila jotted down at 2:30am of 1975-12-24. More than 35 years have passed. We will be able to know if they have already been fulfilled, are being fulfilled, or still will be fulfilled.

I will try to translate the prophecies to English the best that I could. For Filipinos, the text that Marcial Aguila wrote are enclosed in parentheses.

1976 Prophecy 1 – Tough troubles will happen to this world that will be the source or beginning of intense fighting and hunger. Events will be seen that will gravely destroy the people. (Magaganap sa daigdig ang mahigpit na kaguluhan na pagmumulan ng matinding pagbabaka-baka at kagutuman. Masasaksihan ang mga pangyayaring ikapipinsalang lubha ng mga tao.)

More of Maria Liwayway Alvaran's huckstering, PC?
Isn't it clear the woman is a performer, nothing more?

1976 Prophecy 2 – Fourteen (14) countries will experience extreme poverty that will be brought about by widespread flooding that could be compared to the Universal Deluge. (Labing-apat (14) na bansa ang magdaranas ng sukdulang kahirapan na bunga ng malalaking baha na maitutulad sa naganap na “Diluvio Universal”.)

Why do you keep posting Google translate copies of your BS prophesies?

Do you think it adds more authenticity to the "prophesy" if you pretend it is a translation?

Before making this prophecy, someone neglected to do any research into whether or not a "Universal Deluge" ever occurred in the first place. So that's a problem.

No kidding. We had a light sprinkle a couple of days ago. I compared it to the "Universal Deluge". It was a stupid comparison, but there it is.

There's another issue also. You said that, after 2000 years, Ka Apaz would be the last mouthpiece of Ama. You said that when Ka Apaz dies, the wrath of Ama will be released over the earth.

Doesn't it strike you as a little odd that Ama wouldn't be interested in speaking to his (her?) believers any longer just because Ka Apaz has died? After all, you've said that Ama does not prophecy that the world will end, but that there will be a nuclear war. Presumably, the survivors will need Ama's guidance more than ever.

Do you ever wonder if perhaps the new mouthpiece is right and Ka Apaz is simply making up prophecies that make her sound important?

You have advised people to ask questions, to be discerning, and not to accept everything hook, line, and sinker. You say you are a "plain follower" of Jesus. When was the last time you read the New Testament, beginning to end? Plain followers of Jesus usually feel that it's very important to study the Bible closely and keep rereading it. Why not try it, instead of just going over the same prophecies again? ?hy not read it and see how consistent it is with what you've heard from Ka Apaz?

You don't even have to buy it. Here it is in, in the Filipino language. Scroll down to see the links to each section.

BTW, Ama's new mouthpiece has changed the price of his book to 99¢. I'd be very surprised if he was not following this discussion.

So you are questioning if the “Universal Deluge” happened. The narrative is in the book of Genesis, chapters 6-9, in the Holy Bible. I would like to refer you to Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genesis_flood_narrative. Logically, was there an increase or a decrease in population before this Deluge? How about after?

This is what the spirit of Ama said in http://aristean.org/transcript091.htm (in Filipino) titled “Sino ang makapagpapatotoo?” (Who can tell the truth?):

“The one who can say the truth is none other than you. If I (Ama) say that that is the truth and to you, it is a lie, then it is wrong. And if I say that is not true and to you, that is the truth, then it is wrong. Therefore, I am not the one to say that a thing is true or not but your own self.”

PC - you're missing the point....

There ought to be evidence for the Genesis Flood - there isn't any, therefore the truth is that it never happened.

No, because it didn't. Not at all. In any way. Ever.

It's amazing how much wrong you can fit into 3 chapters.

I wouldn't if I were you, because that page says "the ark story is generally considered to be apocryphal"

Logically, was there an increase or a decrease in population before this Deluge? How about after?
Logically it didn't happen.

This is what the spirit of Ama said in
What you seen to have done is confuse the truth with rubbish some old con artist made up and then added a quote that gives you license to believe any old bigoted, unscientific, fantastical nonsense you like.

Well, PC, it seems remarkable you'd believe the Flood story, but it's much more remarkable you'd believe there's any substance to these foolish pronouncements of Maria Liwayway Alvaran.
You've been evading the subject of Ama's new mouthpiece. Would you care to give us a reason to take Maria Liwayway Alvaran's prophecies seriously, since she's been displaced and denounced by her replacement?

So far you and your Ama aren't doing very well.

Talking snake with legs.

Oh, the Sun also stopped its path in the sky so people would have more time to kill other people in the name of the Lord!

Have I mentioned the guy who lived inside a whale?

Its in the Bible, so it must be true, wise and fair. Even if its genocide, rape, slavery, murder, sendind a guy to war so you can do the hop-hop-hop with his wife... Praise the Lord, folks, Praise the Lord!

You keep repeating this over and over and over and over and over...
You believe Ama is God, yet you think Ama will tell you wrong things and that you get to decide what is true?

Apparently Ama is more of a guru than a god.

Apparently Ama is more of a guru than a god.

And apparently not a particularly good guru, at that. Predictions fail regularly, it seems to know more about Bizarro World than Earth, and its primary supporters (dwindling in numbers, not growing) don't exactly seem to be living very comfortable lives.

Over at Maria Alvaran's wa(c)ko compound, the electricity has been off for a decade and there's missing window glass.

(I've also been meaning to ask you, PC: Why did the utility company fine the Alvaran clan and turn off their power? Did Maria and the kids do substandard and/or dangerous house wiring? Illegally connect to the electrical grid to siphon off some free power? Inquiring minds want to know.)

Meanwhile, over in Oz we have "the echo of the Holy Spirit" complaining about old age, pension income, and disseminating [pun intended] archaic views about female sexuality -- While being "disappointed" at the lack of nuclear war before the 2012 Olympics, and wondering why his eponymous and completely unneeded homemade calendar system was not adopted by the entire world 14 years ago, as he was promised by "Ama."

No, PC, we don't see anything of value in the blatherings of your false prophet. It's hilarious for us to pick apart, and it's increased our knowledge of history by a considerable margin, but it can't be much fun for you to see your beliefs publicly rendered into cat litter. Please give up this nonsense before you waste any more of your life on it.
