Coke creates advert that causes conservatives to go nuts

Watch TV or watch TV derived box-sets? How do you avoid the adverts, especially in the US?

I'm repeating others, but in the interest of completeness, I watch TV shows in the following, mostly commercial free ways:

1) Tivo. I don't watch shows live, anymore.
2) Netflix streaming
3) DVD sets

I'm surprised there hasn't been an uproar about the Chevy commercial (or maybe there has and I missed it?)

The commercial says something along the lines of "families have changed" and shows shots of single parents and same sex parents along with more traditional families.

Well, if one use of "hell" qualifies as "profanity-laced" and "extremely destructive and damaging to impressionable children", then I guess kids shouldn't be allowed in churches at all.

I was a little surprised that that Discover card ad with Laurence Fishburne (oops, I meant Samuel L. Jackson!) ;) ended with him saying something like "every deal, every card, every damn day." Even though he's known for swearing as eloquently as a Marine Drill Instructor, it was odd to hear the word in a commercial, even from him.

Note: I'm sure they got some complaints because now it's "every single day."
