By the way, PC, if more women than men survive the Ka Apaz Three-Day War™ it's highly probable that a percentage of them will be lesbian rather than heterosexual. I'm going to do My part by "liberating" your harem and forming the Sensible Shoes Brigade to rescue other women who would rather not spend the rest of their lives in some man's harem.

To be fair, PC didn't say the women would be forced to marry anyone. He said that since there will be so many women per man, and with laws against polygyny presumably not enforced in the post-war chaos, men would be able to attract multiple wives.

These are human beings we're talking about.

The men, being a minority, will be stripped of political power and reduced to chattel, sperm donors to be traded and coerced as their female masters wish. IVF and sperm preservation technology will be among the first to be revived so as to avoid the disease risks involved with one guy banging multiple women.

It'll be a nightmare world for men, even worse for the fertile men.

And the exact opposite has happened, thanks to advances in DNA technology. Back then, it was possible, even probable that the mother would not know who the father was, and BTW, if you think unwed women did not have babies prior to 1975, you must live on a different planet.

But now, with DNA testing, it is possible to establish almost (99%+) all cases of "who is the father". So not only is this not a prophesy, because it has been happening forever, it is wrong as social comment.

Pull the other one. No one is going to say something that blindly obvious, call it a prophesy and have people believe it.

You're making this up. This whole thing is just an extended trolling session. I doubt this Ka Koopa or whatever her name's supposed to be even exists.

The alleged "prophesy" was an observation on social mores prevailing at the time it was allegedly made.

Unfortunately, the opposite is now true.

It would have been impressive if the prophesy said something like:

"There will come to pass a means for mothers to identify who the father is with absolute certainty, even years after a child is born."
