This from the same guy(s) who will now argue that luminol "footprints" , a crude bathmat footprint, and an impossible DNA finding on a random picked knife blade are meaningful. :-) Clownish PGP argument. I think Yummi/Mach is certainly a PGP.

Yes, sometimes what is "compatible" becomes "meaningless" and vice versa.

More about sexual burglary.

Rudy's history demonstrates the clear actions of a fetish or sexual burglar. While most burglars are in it for personal gain, there is a subgroup of burglars for whom material gain either plays a secondary role or is connected to emotions unrelated to what would seem to be the primary intent.

Professional or semi-professional burglars minimize their chances of being caught by spending as little time as necessary in their victims homes. However, this second group of burglars the burglary seems to be almost of secondary concern. They will spend time in their victims homes frequently eating or almost casually going through their victims belongings.

It is this latter group that are very dangerous and often escalate to sexual assault and murder.

Does the sound like anyone we know or a murder that we know?

But there is something important I need to point out: actually, that one should have been a "non-repeateble" test. This is very important, in fact it's still a quite lucky circumstance that Stefanoni used to store the items. Because the Carabinieri, on several casese, they follow a procedure of destroying the items right away after testing.

Why would it be desired to have a non-repeatable test? What's the logic/benefit of limiting testing?

Seems like it would be better to repeat a test as many times as possible which would do nothing but bolster the findings?

A documentary called "Is Amanda Knox Guilty?" will be broadcast on BBC 3 at 9pm Monday February 17th. The programme is co-produced by Andrea Vogt and features interviews with Meredith Kercher's family, Mignini and others. It also contains an audio recording – which has not been heard in public before – of part of Knox's police interrogation.

So they are saying there is an audio of the not recorded police interrogation. Just part of it? Interesting. I'm guessing it's part of the audio of her 17 December (IIRC) questioning with Migi. We will find out soon enough.

The Guardian article states that the recording (1 minute) is dated December 17, 2007.

Sexual Burglaries and Sexual Homicide: Clinical, Forensic,
and Investigative Considerations

Sexual Burglaries and Sexual Homicide:
http://www.jaapl.org/content/27/2/227.full.pdf

Burglary is the third most common crime, behind larceny-theft and motor vehicle theft (FBI Urzifornz Crinze Reports, 1997). The vast majority of break-ins are committed for gain. Nevertheless, a number of burglaries are sexually motivated and are very important in the understanding and prediction of serious violent crime, particularly sexual homicide. The relationship of burglary to sexual murder has been noted by many investigators,

Because our exploratory study (combined with the findings of others) shows that about 40 percent of sexual murderers have a history of burglary, individuals with such a background should become prime suspects in an investigation. iebert notes that, in cases of sexual murder, "any suspect with a history of burglary or assault must be thoroughly investigated for a history
which has either been distorted by the Court or inadequately investigated" (p.
198). In cases where a woman is killed in her residence. we have found that there is about a 77 percent chance that the offender has a history of sexual burglary.

Thanks, I looked for something like this but was unable to find it.
Even the idea of defecating on the property is suggested with one of the perpetrators.
With some of the company he keeps as far as the crime, he does not need to get out. I am scared for women wherever he lives.
From the article:
During some 20 years' imprisonment, he was a model prisoner, obtaining a college degree in his chosen field. He was paroled to attend additional courses at a nearby college. While out on parole, he again began fetish burglaries in an attempt to steal black leather apparel. particularly gloves.

In Guttmacher'ss group of 36 dangerous aggressive sexual offenders, only 1 had a history of exhibitionism, whereas 8 (22%) had a history of burglary. He concludes that "the basic personality structure of the burglar resembled that of the rapist far more closely than that of the exhibitionist. In fact, the legal term 'breaking and entering' bears just such a connotation" (p. 383). This finding is confirmed by Revitch's study of 43 men who had made serious attacks on women, including beating, choking, knifing, and nine murders. Here, only 3 offenders had a history of prior sexual offenses while 12 (28%) had a record of burglary. Four of the 12 (33%) combined burglary with assault on the female occupant. Maconald'' also has described several cases of dangerous sex offenders with a history of burglaries escalating to rape and serious assault.

Yes, guessed correctly then. Not her police interrogation then. They should correct that.

They should, but I don't think they will, considering that the press release about this unheard interrogation tape is intended to draw viewers to the TV documentary. Most people will not take the date on board, just the PR bit about it being a previously unheard recording of the "interrogation."

The clues were right there in front of the police yet they refused to look. So many of the PGP talk about how little was taken. That's because burglary was a secondary motive.

Rudy clearly wasn't an ordinary burglar and fell into that dangerous subgroup. The clues are in all the burglaries that Rudy probably committed that we know. The simple fact that Rudy was "surprised" during two of them. Christian Tremantano and the nursery in Milan. I believe that there his neighbor which he also committed arson showed evidence of the burglar eating from the kitchen as well.

Rudy has all the signs of being a budding dangerous sexual predator.

What do you mean by "Brady"?

I have not heard of similar complaints in Scotland, but I'd be very surprised if it's not happening. Everything else bad is already happening.

Rolfe.

Actually Anglo is using the Americanized term for discovery items held or withheld by the prosecution. Here in the US...due to a SC case called Brady vs Maryland. We now refer to this as Brady material.

Apparently in some cases, treatment works but it has to be treatment for the specific illness.

Burglary, sexual assault and murder.

The motivation for burglary may be conceived of as falling on a hypothetical
spectrum. At one end of the spectrum is the professional or semiprofessional burglar with logical and obvious gain-oriented motives, and at the other end of the spectrum are the symbolic, maladaptive crimes that are ego-dystonic or outright bizarre.

The more the offenses are compelling and without logic, the more likely they are sexually motivated. Banay believes that many crimes that are seemingly nonsexual. such as burglary, actually have hidden sexual forces lying at their root: "[some] burglars. . . tell of achieving orgasm at the moment of entering a window or breaking a locked door" (p. 94).

Guttmacher' also recognizes that many offenses legally viewed as nonsexual are actually sexual, the sexual basis remaining less obvious: "Burglary, assault. and cutting cases often have a sexual origin" (p. 382).

Ya sure and while they are at correcting that they might want to retouch the mixed blood thing which has reappeared. At some point sons a bitches should start getting sued for failing to report verified facts. How hard is it to tell the truth? I thought it was necessary to report that or else be subject to slander and defamation especially in jolly ole England where strict laws are pretended to be in place???

Yes, the person who burglarized Madu Diaz's home feasted, drank, made himself at home, and threw a scarf over her lamp which caused the fire.

No, she stored it in a dry test tube, but the fabric was still wet and the moisture inside the tube caused the rusting.

She explained this in her testimony, saying that for practical reasons they don't have and space for drying items after testing.

Yes, the bra clasp is destroyed.

Thank you for answering my questions regarding the bra clasp.

I assume Dr. Stefanoni used a moistened sterile material to separately swab both the fabric portion and the 2 metal hooks to collect DNA for testing. Does anyone know if her swab material would have transferred that much moisture to the fabric and metal hooks that they would not air dry but instead deteriorate?

Recidivism of sexual predators is staggeringly high. Rudy is likely to commit sexual violence or even murder again. He would definitely not be my choice for a neighbor.
