Maybe they can arrange for her to serve her sentence here.
Why is the punishment of Amanda Knox so important?

That which the prosecution asked for in this retrial (the retest of the DNA and the rehearing of a witness) turned out badly for them, yet they still prevailed in court. It makes no sense.Well I guess the no fingerprints of MK on the knife was all they need. Another crooked Judge with an agenda . Only problem now is they've already screwed up and let the hostages go !
Florence is no better than Perugia . Ignorence reigns supreme Im afraid.

She can always pose for Playboy.
Even if she avoids extradition, I can't imagine any company hiring her, other than the WWF perhaps. Most companies would prefer that their employees not be stabbed to death.
Funny, I was just thinking about a plate of shrimp and you showed up. Let's see the motivation. That should be a laugh. The truth is not going anywhere whatever a bunch of fools wearing funny clothes say. Stick around Stilicho and we'll see who lasts longest.
Clearly you don't understand. The State Department is a political organization and has the right to turn down extradition requests.
The US has an extradition agreement with Italy. Public opinion shouldn't come into it.

The Court of Supreme Cassation did a thorough job of treading science into the ground in their motivations report. Unless someone wakes up, Italy will continue to produce false convictions based on forensics that was buttressed by courtroom lies and continual stonewalling of reasonable requests from the defense.Reason and science from that clown show? Despicable nonsense.

Obviously, Cassation is in the tank for the prosecution.
And, of course the US won't "re-hear" the case. But you think that means that extradition is "straightforward"? I'll bet not.
I'd like a cite where public opinion is a factor in deciding extradition.

-Are you certain of that? After all, they were originally jailed before the process was exhausted.
A delay in extradition won't help AK. By then the case will not be generating heat, and public support will have diminished.
If they can present a case for putting her into custody. To do that, they will have to clearly describe what they think her role in the crime was, and show the evidence they have to support their claim. They won't be able to present five possible scenarios and say, "We think she carried out one of these," which has been their case in a nutshell so far.

Well expressed.
