Well the TOD evidence can't have been a slam dunk, or else it would have figured prominently in the defence.

Extradition of AK should be straightforward now. The US can't re-hear the case.

Now begins the wait for the Motivations... 90 days from today is April 29. Is this correct?

Should be an interesting read, to say the least,

It must be a terrible body blow to Raffaele and Amanada. Well done Amanda for refusing to come back to Italy. What a terrible time for Raffaele. I have deleted all my tags to the PGP sites as it is clear what they are going to say over there. I hope that the extradition process will throw some more light on the whole process. I think the motivations report will be rather thin.

Justice for Meredith at last. Cassation ruling to follow so it's not officially over but truth, reason, and science emerge victorious once again.

This is really crazy, now. Awful, and crazy. I seriously question the intelligence of these people.

Exactly.

I don't get why the CTers aren't embracing this result. They assured us over and over that after the "mistake" of the first verdict, the court would eventually get it right. Well, they have.

I feel deeply depressed for humanity, at the moment. My heart really goes out to both of them, but especially to Raffaele. What an unbelievably :rule10ed up situation.

Rolfe.

It was a slam-dunk. The bloody lawyers don't seem to have understood it.

I don't pretend to understand what the US extradition laws are, or how they relate to this case.

It's Anarchy I tell you

should be an interesting next few days here.

They can't extradite until after the motivations and the appeal process has been exhausted,

Actually, lies, fantasy, coerced statements, and the destruction and fabrication of evidence have reigned supreme, and Meredith's sole killer will soon be walking the streets.

What is a "CTer"?
Anyways I doubt Amanda will set another foot in Italy ever again. Sorry, there is no way USA extradites her, no matter how blood thirsty some witch hunters are.

I feel really bad for Raffaele that he has to continue to pay for this injustice and incompetence by the Italian justice system. But hey, can we be shocked this comes from the same justice system in which Italian scientists were imprisoned for not predicting and earthquake and an 11 year old girl was blamed for her own rape....

Given how pathetic the courts over there have been I don't see why anyone expected anything different. Especially when you factor in the politics and cya going on here.

Doesn't the supreme court have to re-affirm this or something?

Despicable, but unfortunately not unexpected. Rudy Guede murders one, Italy goes for two.

Well I guess the no fingerprints of MK on the knife was all they need. Another crooked Judge with an agenda . Only problem now is they've already screwed up and let the hostages go !

Florence is no better than Perugia . Ignorence reigns supreme Im afraid.
