If not then I don't see any grounds to revoke his passport.

The State Department recommends against all travel to North Korea, but no, American citizens are not banned from going there. The State Department merely warns that they risk arbitrary arrest and long-term detention, or heavy fines, if they do travel there.

DoD personnel, to the best of my knowledge, ARE prohibited from travel to North Korea unless under specific orders, but the average citizen is not subject to DoD directives.

I think you're probably right. And in fact, we might be a little complicit in this silliness by paying attention to Dennis Rodman's antics in the first place.

I just hope for the sake of peace that Kim Jong Un isn't as silly as D.R.
I spent a year in Seoul with the US Army and I still have fond memories of the Korean people and their open hearted nature. Too bad North Korean leaders would not have concern for those people. Or sadder, their own people.

Damn. This puts Rob (I've done nothing wrong and I was drunk when I did it) Ford back at the top of the current International ******** List.

I guess that puts Rodman ahead of Ford in another way (hasn't Ford resisted advice to check into rehab? How'd that work out for Amy Winehouse?)
