Six JFK Shooters, Including Three Tied to CIA, Named by Assassination Authority

Six shooters who participated in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, including three with ties to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), were named by a prominent critic of the Warren Commission Report (WCR). Remarkably, Lee Harvey Oswald, the Warren Commission's lone-assassin-designate, was not among them.

During an interview published this past Nov. 20th in The Santa Barbara Independent, WCR critic/researcher Dr. James Fetzer of Madison, WI, and Chairman of the Oswald Innocence Campaign, revealed the names of five of those who appear to have been shooters, where he has identified the sixth separately:

fur stovol: James Fetzer? The guy who never met a CT he didn't like? Secondly, even if there were six shooters, none of them except LHO hit anything.

But thanks for the point and laugh material.

Six times the ******** for the same low price! what a deal! get it today before it's gone!

If somebody seriously believes this crock of **** there's no helping them.

Throwing six people into the mix increases the chances for failure and disclosure, not the chance of success.

Only two people knew about Clinton and Lewinsky; Clinton and Lewinsky, and they couldn't keep that quiet

Only a few people knew about Watergate, and they couldn't keep that quiet.

So if this story is to be believed, six gunmen, most of the secret service agents present, the people who planned the route, the limo driver, the heads of the FBI (Hoover) and CIA, Lyndon Johnson, Ruth Paine, Cliff Carter, the Warren Commission (consisting of Earl Warren, Chief Justice of the United States, Senators Richard Russell, Jr. (D-Georgia), John Cooper (R-Kentucky), Hale Boggs (D-Louisiana), Gerald Ford (R-Michigan) plus Allen Dulles and John McCloy), the head of the IRS, and a couple of dozen mob bosses and wiseguys all knew about the assassination in advance.... yet, not one single deathbed confession? Not one personal story of involvement?

According to Frank Ragano:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Ragano

Santo Trafficante, Jr. confessed to him that he had ordered the JFK hit, and according to the authors of Legacy of Secrecy:

http://www.legacyofsecrecy.com/

Carlos Marcello is on tape from an FBI CI admitting he ordered JFK hit.

Only problem is that Ragano's story is second hand, and Marcello was well into dementia while in federal custody when the tape was recorded.

I'm with smartcooky - had any conspiracy existed as asserted, by now there would be more information available to the public than they'd have time to digest.

I have no objection to the general idea that someone may have ordered a hit on JFK. Certainly, it appears there were plenty of candidates with sufficient motive, and who may have disliked him enough to order it. I also have no objection to the idea that perhaps LHO was given a contract for the killing. While there is absolutely no evidence that either of these ideas having any truth, they are difficult to completely disprove because of the logical impossibility of proving a negative.

Where I draw the line is with this inside job conspiracy scenario; Mafia in cahoots with the CIA and FBI, secret service in on it, and the whole multiple shooters allegation. That, at least, is disprovable with forensics and ballistics. Despite allegations to the contrary, anyone with reasonable firearms training could aim and fire a bolt action rifle such as the Mannlicher Carcano used, three times in eight seconds as required. (LHO had been in the military).

Whether or not LHO shot JFK off his own bat, or because someone else told him to do it, I firmly believe he he acted alone as the only shooter that day.

^ It's essentially the LIHOP vs MIHOP dichotomy. The mob/Cubans/Russia/LBJ, etc... Any or all having hired LHO to shoot JFK at least conforms to reality and the facts at hand. You can debate intent all day long and in the end, we can't really know what was in LHO's mind.

Strangely, no CT ever claims LIHOP. They always swing for the fence with MIHOP.

JFK Conspiracy

President Johnson had the most to gain in the Kennedy assassination and John was assassinated while Johnson was vice president and before Johnson as president left office Robert Kennedy was assassinated. President Johnson hated both Kennedy's.

Does Fetzer explain why over 90% of the witnesses heard three shots or fewer, and why none said they heard as many as ten?

Hank

President Johnson had the most to gain in the Kennedy assassination and John was assassinated while Johnson was vice president and before Johnson as president left office Robert Kennedy was assassinated. President Johnson hated both Kennedy's.

If I'm understanding your point, you're suggesting Johnson may have had a hand in both.

Johnson had already announced he would not run for a second term as President by the time of the Robert Kennedy assassination.

What did he have to gain from the RFK assassination?

Hank

I don't think I've ever heard anyone link RFK's assassination to LBJ before. Not even Oliver Stone stooped that low.

Why not blame Nixon? He gained more than anyone from RFK's death. And it makes as much sense.

Same reason Truthers obsess over the handful of eyewitness reporting hearing "explosions" while turning a blind eye to the 99% who didn't.

He wasn't fond of JFK either and we know he had a fondness for dirty tricks...

So did my father and his older brother, and my father wondered out loud as to the whereabouts of his brother after news of the assassination broke.

No, my father did not believe his brother had fired the shots that killed JFK, but knew he had the skills to do so and he hated JFK, and the other little fact that must be noted is that my father was a local LEO and his brother was an FBI SA w/o benefit of a university degree...

The running joke for many years was my father asking his brother for a November weather report...for Dallas...and he always had the same answer:

"Cloudy with a chance of head wound."

If we're going to use animosity towards the Kennedy brothers as the litmus test for suspects outside of LHO, it's going to be one hell of a list.

There was an interesting American TV show on British TV yesterday called America Declassified which touched on the JFK murder. It was about an investigation by Mike Baker ,a former CIA officer, into the JFK murder witness Lee Bowers who died in a mysterious car crash.

It mentioned that 18 witnesses died within 3 years of the JFK murder, though somebody did appear to say that was quite normal.

The thing about the Lee Bowers death was that there was no accident investigation, or cause of death, apart from it being an accident, and his body was quickly cremated, which was very unusual at the time.

I think all this warrants further investigation. There is a bit of background to all this on the internet:

"Lee Bowers's testimony is perhaps as explosive as any recorded by the Warren Commission. He was one of the 65 witnesses who saw the President's assassination, and who thought shots were fired from the area of the Grassy Knoll. (The Knoll is west of the Texas School Book Depository Building.) But more than that, he was in a unique position to observe some pretty strange behavior in the Knoll area before and during the assassination.
Bowers, then a towerman for the Union Terminal Co., was stationed in his 14 foot tower directly behind the Grassy Knoll. He faced the scene of the assassination. He could see the railroad overpass to his right. Directly in front of him was a parking lot and a wooden stockade fence, and a row of trees running along the top of the Grassy Knoll. The Knoll sloped down to the spot on Elm Street where the President was killed. Police had "cut off" traffic into the parking lot, Bowers said, "so that anyone moving around could actually be observed."
Bowers made two significant observations which he revealed to the Warren Commission. First, he saw three unfamiliar cars slowly cruising around the parking area in the 35 minutes before the assassination; the first two left after a few minutes. The driver of the second car appeared to be talking into a "mic or telephone"; "he was holding something up to his mouth with one hand and he was driving with the other." A third car with out-of-state license plates and mud up to the windows, probed all around the parking area. Bowers last remembered seeing it about eight minutes before the shooting, pausing "just above the assassination site."
Bowers also observed two unfamiliar men standing on the top of the Knoll at the edge of the parking lot, within 10 or 15 feet of each other. "One man, middle aged or slightly older, fairly heavy set, in a white shirt, fairly dark trousers. Another man, younger, about mid-twenties, in either a plaid shirt or plaid coat or jacket." Both were facing toward Elm and Houston in anticipation of the motorcade. The two were the only strangers he remembered seeing. His description shows a remarkable similarity to Julia Ann Mercer's description of two unidentified men climbing the Knoll.
When the shots rang out, Bowers's attention was drawn to the area where he had seen the two men; he could still make out the one in the white shirt: "The darker dressed man was too hard to distinguish from the trees."
Bowers observed "some commotion" at that spot . . .," " . . . something out of the ordinary, a sort of milling around . . . which attracted my eye for some reason which I could not identify." At that moment, a motorcycle policeman left the Presidential motorcade and roared up the Grassy Knoll, straight to where the two mysterious gentlemen were standing. Later, Bowers testified that the "commotion" that caught his eye may have been a "flash of light or smoke."
On the morning of August 9, 1966, Lee Bowers, vice president of a construction firm, was driving south of Dallas on business. He was two miles south of Midlothian, Texas when his brand new company car veered from the road and hit a bridge abutment. A farmer who saw it, said the car was going about 50 miles an hour, a slow speed for that road.
Bowers died in a Dallas hospital. He was 41. There was no autopsy and he was cremated. A doctor from Midlothian who rode to Dallas in the ambulance with Bowers, noticed something peculiar about the victim. "He was in some strange sort of shock." The doctor said, "A different kind of shock than an accident victim experiences. I can't explain it. I've never seen anything like it."
When I questioned his widow, she insisted there was nothing suspicious, but then became flustered and said, "They told him not to talk."
