Latest Bigfoot "evidence"

Truth of the matter is we are subjected to low level infrasound in nature all of the time without any ill effects. I never bought into the claim otherwise we'ld all be cataleptics.

The debate is still going as to whether EMF has any damaging affects on people, or other living organisms, but I did think it was oddly coincidental that more people are claiming to see these creatures along major cuts for power lines, cell towers, along with increased sightings in more urban areas.

Maybe electromagnetic fluctuations have more to do with whatever is going on, in conjunction with the surrounding area, and the witness's sensitivity. I think the God Helmet experiments were discussed here somewhere before. I guess bigfoot could fall into the ghost/god category as a possible hallucination since it fits one of Jung's archetypes of either the devil or shadow.

After spying the Kentucky episode of (Not) Finding Bigfoot earlier on Sky Demand, I noticed that a common trend for attempting to explain why a supposed witness didn't get any video footage of Bigfoot is that the Bigfoot "fried" the camera, Bobo says this a lot, from what I've gathered...

It's like "well what other explanation could there be for this guy's camera shorting out on him?" Erm, for a start I'd say that he didn't see a Bigfoot at all, and thus had nothing to take a video of...

So, are we to surmise that all of the available footage of Bigfoot that most Footers deem worthy is only available because Sasquatch chose not to fry the camera with his Squatchiness?

Why didn't Patty fry Roger's Kodachrome?

I guess my question is directed to any believers on here, what's your opinion on this technological nightmare? Can Bigfoot fry cameras at long-distance, if so, how?

Is there any evidence that infrasound has any effect on humans?

The only thing I can recall right off is the Mythbusters episode that tested for the effect of low frequency sound on humans and found none.

On 31 May 2003, a group of UK researchers held a mass experiment where they exposed some 700 people to music laced with soft 17 Hz sine waves played at a level described as "near the edge of hearing", produced by an extra-long-stroke subwoofer mounted two-thirds of the way from the end of a seven-meter-long plastic sewer pipe. The experimental concert (entitled Infrasonic) took place in the Purcell Room over the course of two performances, each consisting of four musical pieces. Two of the pieces in each concert had 17 Hz tones played underneath. In the second concert, the pieces that were to carry a 17 Hz undertone were swapped so that test results would not focus on any specific musical piece. The participants were not told which pieces included the low-level 17 Hz near-infrasonic tone. The presence of the tone resulted in a significant number (22%) of respondents reporting anxiety, uneasiness, extreme sorrow, nervous feelings of revulsion or fear, chills down the spine, and feelings of pressure on the chest. In presenting the evidence to the British Association for the Advancement of Science, Professor Richard Wiseman said, "These results suggest that low frequency sound can cause people to have unusual experiences even though they cannot consciously detect infrasound. Some scientists have suggested that this level of sound may be present at some allegedly haunted sites and so cause people to have odd sensations that they attribute to a ghost—our findings support these ideas.

But if you have insurance, I'ld start with a sleep study. That way you could rule that out as a cause for whatever happened to you.

I did a sleep study at the University of Minnesota long before I ever got into Sasquatch. Results came back normal. That's not it.

Now the rest of the story. 5 hours later, a couple of hundred yards from where I claim to have had my experience, two people claimed to have seen saw a Sasquatch. That is why.

Fixed that 4 u.

Baiting noticed, BTW. It all boils down to your experiences, your beliefs, your ideas, your needs for attention. There's no real intention or desire for a dialogue, alternate interpretations; just bigfoot preaching.

Seems pretty clear to me too. The footies never admit to it though.

Why should anyone view this as anything other than just one more bigfoot story?

Why should anyone believe any bigfoot story that lacks an actual bigfoot to lend it credence?

You're obviously making this up as you go. Any time a question is asked you add more to the story.

Things change over time NL, if you've put on weight or developed some other condition, it might affect your sleeping patterns. I'ld get retested.

Why not just tell the whole thing all at once? And if you believe that bigfoot can zap you with infrasound why would it be so far out of the realm that they could zap cameras with EMW's? Aren't the two equally unlikely?

You could substitute "Bigfoot" with 911, JFK, UFO, or any other CT and it's the same.

How do you know 2 others saw one? Did you go over to them to talk to them? If not, why not?
If so, did you ask their names and exchange phone numbers, etc for future correspondence on this?
Did either of you say you were going to report the siting to the local DNR?
If not, why didnt you think to do all these things?
Same would apply if 2 unrelated parties witnessed an alien, flying saucer, etc.

Is that supposed to support the idea? It's pretty weak. And how is bigfoot supposed to produce these frequencies?

Simple. Remember Krantz's ideas about Patty being actually a male? What almost everibody thinks are breasts actually are vocal sacs, similar to those of howler monkeys (genus Alouatta). My investigations allowed me to conclude that bigfoots' vocal sacs can create infrasounds which are used for communications and as weapons.

I did speak with both of them afterwards and know the entire encounter. I've been out with both of them since this happened as well.

I've never worked with the local DNR, but have spoken to people that have. They are courteous and listen but that's about it.

Nope, still weigh 165 which is what I've been since 1986. No other conditions either. Very healthy, knock on wood.

You asked about infrasound and humans, so I provided a link to an experiment.

As I said before, I'm on the fence as to whether they can do this or not.
