Dan O, Michel believes everyone can hear his thoughts but most of us lie and say we can't. Can you hear Michel's thoughts?

This is a good question, since Dan O. continues to insist there may be something to Michel's telepathy claims.

Let's hope he answers it.

Good question. I would add a further one. If, as Michel claims, we all hear his thoughts, why would we lie about it?

And another. Do we only hear Michel's thoughts? Why not everyone else's?

I previously asked Michel if he could hear a cacophony of other psychic voices or if he thought he was uniquely the one true psychic in a world of 7 billion people.

I would be interested to hear his thoughts (so to speak).

Perhaps you should start by asking why so many of the posters in this thread failed to follow the protocol in the OP and many even delibrately tried to disrupt the test. Such behavior would not be necessary if there were no telepathy any you knew it.

Why would any rational person take such a nonsensical, buffoonish "protocol" seriously?

You could have just ignored it. Are you afraid of the result that it might show?

Given the result it actually showed, no. I would be more afraid of the mermaids. Or the unicorns. Or the zombie apocalypse. Or Thor. Or Zeus. Or the guard dogs with bees in their mouths and when they bark they shoot bees at you.

You could have just ignored it.

I did ignore it. I guessed a number in the previous thread but this time I couldn't be bothered as it looked like only a handful of people were taking part and so teh result wouldn't show anything statistically significant.

Are you afraid of the result that it might show?

On the contrary. An unexpected result would actually have been really interesting.

Speaking of results, are you able to hear Michel's thoughts? He believes you can. He thinks we all can.

What does "necessary" have to do with it? Are you really suggesting that a person can be accused of believing the looniest nonsense if he does not take it seriously? So if I believe telepathy is utter balderdash I can prove it only by quietly taking the "test" and presuming (wrongly of course) that it will be done fairly and that the tester will acknowledge the finality of his failure? What world do we inhabit here?

Apparently this is your world of hecklers. I'll need to look elsewhere for where the rational skeptics hang out.

Which brings up the original question.
If Michel is convinced that this site is filled with liars and hecklers who will stop at nothing to protect their close-minded world view, then why try to run tests here?

Is that your goal?

Is that your goal?

Is what my goal?

I cooperated to the best of my ability in this test.

.................

The actual percentage of trouble-makers, hecklers, and liars is irrelevant.

If Michel is convinced that the percentage of discredible people is large enough that special protocols must be put in place to counter their disruptive behavior, then surely this is a terrible place to try to run tests.

It would seem to me, Dan O., that your trying to convince Michel to find a better website for his tests would be far, far, far more productive than merely chastising us for our refusal to accept telepathy.

Where have I chastized anyone for their refusal to accept telepathy? What I have consistently chastized is the refusal to allow the claim to be tested and the claims that certain parts of the protocol are invalid.

It's laughable to see all the pseudo skeptics falling over themselves trying to find fault with the test protocol when all they are really doing is applying their preset bias denying telepathy.
.

.........................

Now that I understand the rules of your game, I must step off the playing field.

As far as I am concerned, you win, Dan O. You win again.

Interesting. Who here has the ability to deny the testing of a claim of telepathy? Why should protocols for such a test be immune from criticism?

I do agree that you constantly chastize, without rhyme or reason, without knowledge of the topic or the thread, while avoiding most questions put to you.
