His name is Lee Bright and he is about as cuddly as a cactus mated with pepper spray.

I don't know how politically correct that is but I know that is largely factually incorrect. At least in my experience.

There’s people that are mentally ill, there are people that are disabled. I understand that, though I still think that’s the role of the Church to take care of those folks.

Bright’s S. 102 would attempt to simply declare the federal Obamacare law null in South Carolina — a blatantly unconstitutional move — and make it a crime for any federal official who knowingly “attempts to enforce any aspect of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” a crime, subject to “up to one year in prison.”

Incredible. Make it a crime to enforce federal law. A law designed to help those in dire situations. I'm thinking Lee Bright is the guy that thinks the idea of Santa giving naughty children coal is way too easy and instead advocates murdering their pets in front of them. That'll teach 'em.

Oh, he also opposes funding rape crisis centers.

And, incredibly enough, thinks rape victims should be forced to carry their child.

2 summers ago when I was in Woodmans, some "gotcha" wannabes saw me checking my droid Razer in line, saw me pay with SNAPS, followed me out to my shiny custom truck, put a camera (phone) in my face & asked why I was using food stamps when I could afford such nice things.

I explained I was a proxy for some people at faire... After their blank stares, I explained what a proxy was.

I asked when & where they were going to put the video up but I guess they didn't hear me... Haven't been able to find it either

And their fan boyz. Amazing (and quite entertaining) how certain conservative elements can't find a thing to say about the topic so attack the poster.

Where are the "thinking conservatives"? They never seem to show up and say, "Yeah, that's the kind of cretin who needs to be drummed out of the party so we can get back to being a political party and not a sideshow heading for oblivion."
