Merged Sylvia Browne passed away this morning

While I am sorry for her family, and for the loss of life, she was a con artist and a horrible person who lied, bilked, grifted and scammed innocent, gullible people out of their money.

They may have had their issues with her over the years, but assuming Robert's source was correct, and I suspect that it is, they still loved her, and they will be sincerely grieving.

For those who fear I may have been pranked:

For reasons I will not divulge, I am pretty confident in my source, or I would not have posted about it here (and on Facebook). This does not guarantee that I have not been pranked, but I would be very surprised if that turns out to be the case.
 
Robert, I think most of us find you trustworthy and if you claim your source is trustworthy, that's enough. But we are waiting for confirmation.

Understandable, gerd.

I had considered phoning my source to make sure that his/her email account had not been highjacked, but decided that, if the email was correct, the correspondent's phone line is likely to be busy with family communications, and my interrupting that would be neither kind nor appropriate.
 
If she did pass away it is unfortunate; in that she was not able to be held more publicly accountable for her actions.

Yes, the reaction to Margaret Thatcher was WAY over the top and inappropriate, IMO. Every valid criticism has been expressed, there's no need to go crazy after somebody's "kicked the bucket".
 
Her Wikipedia page now lists her date of death as today. So now it's official.

I also saw that SB was supposed to host a cruise in 2014. I guess she didn't see that one coming!
 
I hope that she brought joy to her family during her life. She certainly didn't enrich the world in any other way.
