Bigfoot DNA

Just like most other purported Figboot videos, this one has some of the usual attributes

► an (in)conveniently positioned branch that just happens to obsure the face so we don't get a clear view.

► just as it looks like we might get a clear view, the think moves or the camera suddely gets jolted.

► indistinct or marginally out of focus.

One thing that goes through my head when I see both these vids is "do you not know how to use the zoom on you camera?!"

At that distance I can zoom in with my cheapo video camera and get a nice full frame shot of a bloody blue tit, let alone an alledged 7' apeman.

And one of the things that bothers me is that a huge proportion of the public now carry smart/mobile phones that have very good camera and video capability.

And then there are the hundreds, maybe thousands of trail cameras out there. How come ordinary trail cameras can take photos of wild animals as clear as these...

There's something else that should bother you. People routinely track humans, bears, and mountain lions with dogs. They do not seem to have any trouble tracking mountain lions and bears to their source. Notice that this works with humans even though they are wearing shoes. Yet, no one has ever been able to track a bigfoot. There are in fact people who can track animals by sight almost as well as dogs can by scent. They too have never been able to track a bigfoot.

No one has ever found bigfoot dung or a fresh site of urination even though this should be a considerable quantity.
No one has ever found bigfoot hair. You would think that bigfoot hair would be as common a find as footprints. You can find hair from black bear and deer.
No one has ever found a bigfoot feeding site. For example, evidence that roots or rodents were dug up using a stick as a tool. You can find feeding sites for black bear and wild boar.

Someone is unhappy.

"I wrote this in response to a poster below and I thought I would repost this as a main string:

Jeff, unfortunately it is true. Some people like to seek their own notoriety . . .

I tried to protect their integrity but some egos are too big to listen . . .

The truth is that Bryan and I were highly frustrated with Icon Films, so much so that we felt it tiresome to work with them . . .

Bryan and I were filmed for 3 days and I was supposed to be a part of the filming in Northern California as well but they cut me out of that . . .

I think my demands on them got me cut from the show . . .

I am afraid that Icon Films missed the boat on what is important and I have emailed them and communicated my disappointment that they did not take up my offer for me to go with them and consult for the entire show to help them avoid embarrassment for their novice conclusions and focus . . .

I can go on and on . . .

The one thing that is good, organizationally, is that Bigfootology and Bigfootologist are now terms that are becoming universally recognizable and legitimate. I coined these terms back in the early 1990’s to simple explain what I do when I am asked by others, and I did get some complaints by some when I changed the name from S.I.R. Bigfoot to Bigfootology over three years ago, but the reality is that despite the hundreds of cultural names for Bigfoot, Bigfoot is a more universally recognized term so I stuck with it. This film crew asked permission to use the terms and I said yes because Bigfootology is trademarked. So it is nice to see that Bigfootology and Bigfootologists are catching on as a way of recognizing what all of us do. That is why I say that all of us are Bigfootology. So we will continue to stay focused on one thing and that is the global study of the Bigfoot phenomenon and we do have one outstanding team.

Rhettman A. Mullis, Jr., MS, PhD-ABD, CAF, MHP"

Gee, is this the bigfoot enthusiast's "Me-me-me" that Correo Neto likes to point out?

Oh good heavens. From his own website:

"Rhettman has a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Leadership. Master’s work in counseling and special education with a master’s of Science degree in psychology. Rhettman is also finished with his academics for his PhD in psychology and is currently writing his dissertation. He also holds a professorship at DeVry University, Ashford University and University of Phoenix, and was a Faculty Mentor for Missouri College online teaching subjects in psychology, critical thinking, research methods, and communication. He is also a therapist with specialties in Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and has extensive work in co-occurring disorders including schizophrenia and severe depression and bipolar disorder.

Rhettman consults and counsels individuals and professionals as a pastoral care counselor as he is a licensed chaplain and ordained pastor. Mostly he does children and family work always attempting to heal and restore families; and teaching parents to parent affectively in our trying times."

So, a nutjob fundie bigfoot researcher. Got it.

The thing I found the most humorous was the "Bigfootology-mobile". How can anyone write that with a straight face?

I wonder how many scientists here drive around in their "Biology-mobile"...

I'll have you know that Bigfootology is a respected branch of main line science. You can tell because it's got "ology" on the end of it.

:p

Is a bigfootology mobile a large kinetic structure?

Bet they wear white lab coats to all of their media appearances.

And yes, I know for a fact that the bigfootology mobile is a large kinetic structure located in Alabama.

Or a hideous demonic undergod.

Yeah, we use ABD sometimes when advertising or applying for faculty positions. The odd thing is that someone would include that as a suffix to their name. Serious professionals don't do that, mostly because we know there are thousands of people out there who took some classes but crashed and burned, never finishing their PhDs..

I just likened it to the pest control guy's truck with the giant cock roach on top, eye catching to say the least.
