Some people might think this is unfair and that Republicans aren't motivated by race at all. If they have a problem with this, they can call me on my Obamaphone in my Cadillac. I'm out buying T-bone steaks with all the other strapping young bucks.

This is unfortunately true. There are even some on these forums that would say something similar and mean it. I can't fault Elypsis44 for thinking your comment was serious. I also thought it might be.

I worried some people would think that. I guess I'll have to be even more ridiculous with my sarcasm in the future.

But when you can say the President is a foreign born terrorist on a Manchurian Candidate-style mission to destroy the U.S. by becoming the leader of the free world and fixing a broken healthcare system...and that's NOT taking things too far... sigh. :(

Just for fun I went to http://healthcare.gov to see what was going on there, and when I clicked the "Apply Now" button I got this message:

Health Insurance Marketplace: Please wait

In other words: so many people are coming in to sign up for health coverage, it's overloading the servers.

I actually heard about the site from three separate people. Seems word is spreading! Affordable health care, who woulda thunk it.

On a serious note, I wonder how long until some extremist nutcase tries to hack the Healthcare.gov website in an attempt to take it down? I honestly wouldn't put it past some loonies.

Why not also people looking to compare costs (like me)? I have insurance (I pay for). I'm now going to pay more. :mad:
