Yep, a lot of times when I check in I just click on "last page," and things are pretty much where they were before.
 
Other than entertaining and educational content along the way, we're really still at page two. No consistent claim, no effort on the woo side to understand anything at all about the nature of reality.

Those threads are mirror images of this one. As a matter of fact, those other skeptics got right to the business of being snarky with flaccon much sooner than we did; we were pretty polite at the onset.

Flaccon has been at this "proof of <xxx>" business for quite a while, hasn't she? She has repeatedly failed to provide any proof in spite of her claim that she has some, has resisted any attempts to test or confirm her claims, and has complained about skeptics being big old meanies and rude to her just like she's done here. She has been doing this for the last eight years or even longer. If I'd have known about the UM threads I'd have probably put even less effort into this thread (not that I put a lot of effort into it to begin with). Why did flaccon even come here? Perhaps she needed to feed her persecution complex or something. Perhaps alderbank's two visits are all the reward she needed.

Wow - still going. At about page 60 or so I said to myself - "flaccon has bet someone that she can get this thread up to 100 pages". She must be working on her next bet. Forget the MDC.

To be fair, she's not the one keeping the thread alive--her last post was nearly two weeks ago.
 
Hi all,

I posted a few days back - been following the thread. I got curious and decided to take a peek at flaccon's YouTube page to see if she added any videos of her mysterious shroud. The link went to her "comments" page and, well... I'm a little concerned.

She's been commenting on other people's videos about eerie sounds and UFO's. They note a particular time in the video - I think maybe where she "hears" voices, and sometimes she adds what they're saying. On a few she wrote "tp" - I don't know if that means she heard her name, and on one she wrote "Angels are behind this." On a video about some sort of trumpeting heard somewhere she wrote "We're almost at completion."

There are over 30 videos with these comments, all in the past 2 days. I'm not in the health profession so maybe I'm reading too much into this, but this sudden frenetic behavior so reminds me of people I've known who are bipolar. Even more worrying is how similar it is to a friend's ex-girlfriend who turned out to be schizophrenic. Angels, end of the world, spirit voices - how do you tell the difference between a stubborn woo believer and someone with a chemical inbalance?

I hope I'm wrong - it bothered me so much that I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. She apparently has friends and family around so if something's going on they'll know it. I don't think she's a danger to herself or anything. I don't know why I'm worrying about her - all I know of her is what she wrote on this thread and based on that I can't say I like her very much.

Anyway, if anyone's curious you can Google flaccon and a link should come up. Otherwise YouTube dot com slash flaccon should work.

I don't have any good answers for you about what could be done to help flaccon, Scordatura. I just wanted to say that you're a very kind person to be so concerned about her. I have the urge to give you a giant e-hug right now. Maybe Alderbank could check on her for us. Alderbank's not a miracle worker though.

I'm not sure if I welcomed you to the forums before Scordatura. If not, then welcome aboard, we could always use another thoughtful and caring person around here.

If it's any consolation, it appears as if she's been at this for years. Her activity may be at some sort of peak right now, but it's hard to tell whether this is unusual or just what she's been like everyday for the past decade. She does have friends who are hopefully watching out for her. It sounds like at least some members of her family are fed up with the behavior (meaning it's gone on long enough for them to get fed up---indicating that this might just be normal for her).

Some of it does seem alarming, but if alarming is "everyday normal" to flaccon, then so be it. But it's no way to live and there is help available if she seeks it.

Seems like she trawls through Youtube listening for her voices. Maybe she believes that this will be evidence for us. I realise some of her comments are translation of what she hears. I only looked at a couple but in one she posts R.R. Maybe she's slightly rattled by our disbelief and is now enforcing her ideas for herself. I feel very sad about her really and wish she would find something healthier to do with her time. If she went for a walk that she hadn't been told to take by the spirits maybe she could start changing her focus. But then the spirits have chosen her, given her special fingers and to give up being special is a hard thing to do. She just wants the rest of us to acknowledge how special she is.
