Latest Bigfoot "evidence"

I used to live in northern Minnesota, a little ways south of the border. Nothing up there except snowy owls and ticks.

Did an owl or tick do this?

Did you see what did that?

Could it have been a trackway degraded by environmental conditions?

Could it have been made by a human with nothing better to do?

Have you or anyone ever produced any biological evidence for the cryptid known as bigfoot? You know, the one folks are trying to shoe-horn into existence through subjective examination of subjective evidence (in some cases known hoaxes) in an effort to confirm their own bias.

In other words, cool story. Now, this animal that you seem to think made such a trackway, where is it?

Hey, hey, hey, you know the bigfoot science rule. If it's on Youtube it must be real!!!

I'm Bigfoot. I don't want to leave any trace evidence of my presence to alert the humans, such as hair, scat, etc. I will walk through large thickets of brush and leave no tufts of hair.

I'm not bigfoot. The real creature is most likely not a man in a furry suit. There are other possibilities such as neanderthal, giganto...

This show explores the possibilities and they actually use the scientific method.

Small/medium sized mammal.

Same with all these supposed Bigfoot "nests" . Would this thorny, stiff grass places be a perfect place to gather hair samples? Possibly even saliva if Bigfoot has dinner inside his nest. Maybe he makes little Bigfeets there too and may deposit other types of biological samples.

But nope. Nada. No one ever offers anything but pictures of these "nests".

Hey! Kit's back!!!

Good to see you Kit. Hope Japan is treating you well.....

Could be someone's back yard. There's no evidence that it's "miles from nowhere". There's a brief shot of the cameraman showing his boot next to one of the tracks. The prints were made some time ago, since there's snow partially obscuring them, along with deterioration from wind. However, it's possible they were made with snowshoes. I don't have the precise method yet, but I get I could make similar tracks in winter with some practice. I did watch the entire 14-minute video, though. There's a slight possibility, but I would imagine that there would be fur/hair caught in the branches. That's only a small concern, though. At ~8:18 there is a distinct human bootprint on top of the snow, however. You can only see it for a moment before the cameraman pans away. That, to me, is evidence of a hoax. Especially since they're following the prints the other way and this would be the first time that they have seen the tracks.

Meldrum says : "Evading human detection is not that difficult"

Haha, no.

The best part is right after that, when they talk about the Billy Ape. "...found in the remote jungle of the Congo...it took scientists over a year to videotape it..."

1) It's the Congo. No one wants to go there since it's extremely dangerous, not just from the indigenous wildlife, but the warlords.
2) It's the Congo. It's a dense jungle.
3) They found conclusive proof of its existence anyway despite the Congo being, well, the Congo.

4) The Bili ape is a chimpanzee, which was, you know, already classified.
