Looking for Skeptics

Oh, another unanswered question.

Flaccon, you claimed that the spirits have explained "the great mystery of life". When I asked what this "great mystery" is and how they had explained it, you eventually replied, "It's been explained in records. it's not an explanation I can give. I am not literate enough to find the words required."

You claim that the spirits communicate with you by way of recognisable words. If you can't "find the words required" youself, can you tell us the words that the spirits used to explain it?

And can you at least let us know what the "great mystery" is?

Do you know that they are more than voices on computer? Even if I was to ignore my Father et al, it would not stop. If you feel your assumptions to be correct, then so be it, I do not.

The great mystery is how no one ended up on the cover of SFM® magazine.

Talk, talk, talk. We're not the ones with assumptions.

Yes and it became clear very rapidly that she considered disagreeing with her to be "impolite". So what is it she wanted? That we all keel over and concede she was right for fear of being "impolite"? I think that is on the far side of likelyhood.

I don't mind disagreements at all, I do expect it. I disagree to the mocking and being the butt of retarded jokes. I disagree to being called a liar. When I disagree, it appears that many are impolite.

So the goalposts have moved again. Why are you incapable of giving a straightforward answer instead of moving the goalposts? I predict you'll never ever engage with us to design a protocol as it's more satisfying to have a tantrum and play the victim when this whole debacle is entirely your own creation.

The politeness won't last if you continue to be dishonest.

Well maybe if you engaged with us instead of flapping away all our attempts at giving you an explanation for your "voices" we wouldn't get impolite. You are being rude by dodging questions, building strawmen, moving the goalposts and demanding special pleading. We aren't interested in rhetoric. It will do you no good.

Well, then we are all done here. You came to us. Your assumptions are on trial. If you don't want to test your blurry haze of claims, then leave.

Meh.

I knew we'd never ever get a coherent claim out of flaccon at the start of the thread or a protocol.

Arrives looking for skeptical input, gets polite skeptical input and doesn't like it, starts changing claims and moviing goalposts, receives less polite skeptical input, takes offence, vanishes, returns to complain about how horrible everyone has been. This is a pattern I'm sure I've seen before.

I've seen "can't post because computer/interwebs is broken" before as well.

And idiosyncratic punctuation.

It's 'the dog ate my homework' for the internet age.

And I wouldn't mind a list of links to specific instances of insult and being called a liar. I think we have been suggestive within context but hardly explicit.

Just a quick note in case anyone is confused that the DRCOG does not make a GP into a obstetrician or a gynae. I think it means they have gained a diploma that helps with anti/post natal clinics and such like. They would need a quite a bit more to be a qualified obstetrician/gynae.

Usually inferences and insinuations are more hurtful than being explicit and blatant as you can never be 100% certain that it's not a chink in your poorly-constructed armour that has been found!
