I was on the probably not going list. Now on the almost no chance of going list. Knee surgery scheduled for July 8th with a follow up doctor's appointment on the 11th. I still might pull off a last minute trip but it is unlikely. Although I anticipate my usual near superhuman recovery I cannot count on it. If I did go I would gimpy and I like to walk.

We are going Wednesday afternoon (somewhere around 3-ish to beat city traffic) and coming back Sunday evening, if either of those work for you.

Ok, what do I need to do to make this happen? I *might* try to find a different ride home, so I can stay until Monday, but probably I'll want to hitch a ride both ways.

The best bet is probably for us to pick you up on the way out that Wednesday. It's a bit out of the way, but not too far and it makes the most sense to do that. I am not sure what time, but that can get figured out later. The thing is that we just bought a new car that doesn't have much trunk space. How light do you pack? :o

I wear shorts and tank tops. I could PROBABLY fit it all in a back pack if I needed to... Would a dufflebag that makes it as carry-on luggage be too big?

You picking me up would be absolutely LOVELY. I'm just off the 15/91 interchange, and seriously, the less driving I ever have to do in my entire life, the better!

Dufflebag would be fine. :) We haven't yet travelled in this car so we don't know it's capacity. I really just wanted to make sure you weren't planning on bringing a bag of shoes, bag of hair supplies, etc. :D
