This is probably accurate. There was a Chilean blow predicted a few days ago and they went to Red on the alert scale and started evacuating people, but just about the time of the OP (a little before, actually, speaking of inability to read the internets) they reduced the threat and told people it was okay to move back in limited numbers - and there are now ground teams examining the area, so apparently they don't think the cataclysm is imminent.
