Does anyone know who this charlatan actually worked for (if anyone) on 9/11? Was he just a former vet with some medical training that happened to be in Manhattan that day? I do not believe I've ever seen anything regarding who he was a first responder for (FDNY, EMS, etc.).

The key word being "claimed," of course. There are many people who have claimed to be lots of things that they aren't in connection with the events of 9/11. We have seen here people who have falsely claimed to have been present, people who have falsely claimed to have been victims, and even people who have falsely claimed to have been FDNY on 9/11. Pretty despicable, really.
