Earlier Issa claimed he was fine with Pickering's open testimony without a deposition before even though he refused to let Pickering testify, but now he's changed his mind and is insisting on a closed private deposition before he'll allow open testimony from Pickering.

It's eerily like he doesn't really want what Pickering has to say to taint the partisan narrative he's trying to construct via his public hearings.

Do you even understand the difference between classifying sensitive information that it's an internal review of a department that often carries out things that need to remain classified, and Issa's completely-unclassified very-public dog-and-pony show?

That there are segments of the Accountability Review Board Report which remain classified is SOP. That there is private testimony behind closed doors at Issa's hearings is because Issa doesn't want to include anything that contradicts the fake scandal story he's trying so hard to push.
