Continuation Part 5: Discussion of the Amanda Knox/Raffaele Sollecito case

Rudy was listed as 5'10" (plus maybe a half inch) on an official Italian document, I think it may have been a driver's license. He was definitely an athlete.

Filomena's room did not have a violent encounter with blood and mess everywhere and there was no reason to sweep it down particularly well being as the police thought the break-in staged from the very beginning. Interestingly enough they did find some hairs and such near that window, but Stefanoni didn't go to the trouble of doing much in the way of trying to identify it, unlike the trouble taken with the curious knife and the bra clasp, both of which on the face of it would be of dubious evidential quality.

lol, they had every reason to look at that room since the break in was staged there. the defense had any opportunity to look for evidence in that room and there was nothing that showed Rudy was there which is amazing.

you keep think it makes sense Rudy would ransack that roommates clothes and nothing else? how do you explain the glass on top of the clothing? How do you explain no evidence on the outside of the house of a break in? Would you have chosen that high window for access to the cottage over lower points? WHy?
i
of course, you think all the DNA evidence against Raff and Knox is dubious. if that same knife and bra clasp had Rudy DNA on it, you wouldn't be ssaying this.

I bet it was Stef's same lab that found a match for Rudy's DNA in the bedroom in his trial. you guys are ok with that result.

I forgot to point out that Knox Dna was found mixed with victim's blood in Fiol's room where they staged the break in. can't try to explain that away as innocent, just a natural occurrence of two roommates living near each other.

this is the funniest part of her declaration:

3. Who is the REAL murder [sic]? This is particularly important because I don't feel I can be used as condemning testimone [sic] in this instance.

I love how she capalizes REAL. then she acknowledges that determing who the REAL murderer is "particularly important". you think so, Amanda? Hah! but then her reason for that doesn't seem to be justice or making sure this person doesn't kill again, but really so her false accusation of her boss who she knows is innocent doesn't condemn him.

this is the woman that people on here want to go to bat for. lol

The reading comprehension of a sixth-grader indicates the rest of the note reveals she doesn't think any of what she signed actually happened, thus the police need to start looking for the REAL murder [sic] because it wasn't Patrick and it wasn't her or Raffaele.

In that note Amanda demonstrates more investigative acumen than the entirety of the Polizia di Stato Perugian 'flying squad.'

Massei said it made no sense for Rudy to go through that window and gave numerous reasons for it, not just the fact it would take a lot of effort and he would have to go up at least twice. he talked aabout it's visiblitiy from the road.

but you keep talking about it is doable but the reality is there was no evidence it was done. do you deny there was zero evidence on the exterior of the house of a breakin? No grass was trampled outside, no scuff marks on the house. No evidence of Rudy being in that room, none of his DNA, no debris from the garden on the floor?

to continue to argue it's doable despite the logic that suggests he would have used another entry point and the fact there was no evidence that it was done is proof that you are a zealot on this case. no burglar is going to enter a house from a point with more visiblitiy than others and one that is the biggest hassle for him. and there's no evidence he did. I can't believe you want to m ake this your focus in defending Knox.

Now THERE'S a strawman argument. This is not "my focus on defending Knox." It's actually not about Knox. There's actually no evidence that he did not either. If there was, then it would have been presented at trial. I will simply leave it at that.

The balcony is the most visible entry point of all, lit from the street as it curves around with no place to go if spotted. Look up thread ofr the picture that shows how hidden this window actually is...

But no matter. I'm not here to convince you. People should look for themselves.

If I have a focus to suspecting Knox had nothing to do with this, it is the fact of no DNA in the murderroom, and no indication of a clean-up, meaning something that removed two sets of DNA and left a third intact. Lamp or no lamp. I mean, I want to get me one of those lamps if it could accomplish what you claim it accomplished.

Say what you want. Everyone can judge for themselves.

Why not? Once again, you are assuming that the cottage was in lab-like sterile condition before the murder took place, so that any trace left must be associated with the murder.

The Postal police gave both Knox and Filomena free rein in the cottage in the minutes before the body was discovered.

Have you seen the video which shows the method the Scientific Police collected DNA evidence?

I bet it was Stef's same lab that found a match for Rudy's DNA in the bedroom in his trial. you guys are ok with that result.

Yup. Because that was discovered in the first week, and Stef's lab came back with nothing that implicated Amanda or Raffaele. Nothing.

It was when, 7 weeks later, they still had nothing to implicate the two that they went back to find the bra-clasp, moved some feet from where it had been originally. Meredith's mattress had been dragged into the kitchen. The whole cottage was compromised.

The Stef had to fiddle with the dials to find anything at all, and all it was, at best, was a single male y-allele that could have been Raffaele's and could have been other peoples.

Stretching the finding of evidence over a timeline shows how the Pergian Police investigated this, trying to create a case against Knox and Sollecito where there was not one.

Again, I am not trying to convince you. Your mind is made up. I am asking others to look into this for themselves if their interest is so.

That, and maybe he can return to 2008, whence he came.

I know what you mean, this is some seriously old school trolling.

I think he's getting his talking points from the pre-Massei-translation era, when nobody knew what the prosecution case really was and so all sorts of guilter fanfic like "mixed blood" and "impossible climb" were muddled up with the actual prosecution case.

Does anyone have a clean image of Rudy's shoe suitable for matching to the prints? I'm putting together a photo composite and want to add the shoes in the proper locations and orientations.

Here's a photo from Vinci's report.

you haven't given one logical reason for that lamp being in the room. it was also Knox's only light source in her room so doesn't seem likely she would have let meridith borrow it and she never even claimed that she did.

the jurors agreed that that rudy didn't come in through that high window and so will this appeals trial jury. you are forced to argue that rudy did break in, no matter there's no proof plus it would make no sense for him to do go that route b/c it's devastating to Knox that he didn't. I feel your pain.

you have every opportunity to actually debate me directly on my points on here, or you can talk about me in the 3rd person as though you are above me. I'm slicing and dicing Knox's defense on here and you know it bro. getting angry about it won't change what is happening. better come up with some logical rebuttals.

again, a Knox fan talks about Massei as though Massie agrees with you. Massie voted her guilty. this is so Orwellian.

dna evidence is dna evidence. time of when it was tested is irrelevant. since the only other raff dna in the cottage was on some cigarette in the kitchen there is no credible claim that the bra clasp was contaminated. also, it was knox/raf's defense lawyers that helped delay the testing of the bra clasp.

why would the police wwant to frame Knox and raff? you say this as though it makes all the sense in the world but it nuttery.

lol, they had every reason to look at that room since the break in was staged there. the defense had any opportunity to look for evidence in that room and there was nothing that showed Rudy was there which is amazing.

You cause me to consider something interesting, how well did the Polizia Scientifica sweep that room? The amorphous blob in the room was found during the return trip six weeks later when they used the luminol, obviously they didn't find that the first time around. Why was that?

you keep think it makes sense Rudy would ransack that roommates clothes and nothing else? how do you explain the glass on top of the clothing?

Look at where the clothes were, he might have tipped something coming in the window, knocking glass off the ledge onto the clothes that had fallen. They might well have been there, making the glass being on top of them rather natural. The glass might have been kicked there as Rudy ruffled through things after having thrown them to the ground, if they weren't there already. Mignini's supposition that glass being on top of clothes indicates that the window was broken after the clothes were thrown on the floor by a 'stager' is hardly an absolute, it's just one possible explanation of that result.

How do you explain no evidence on the outside of the house of a break in?

How do you know there wasn't? Show me the pictures of the undisturbed ground outside the window. Have fun with that, however you may find they used that area for smoking instead, guys standing around grinding any glass that was there into the dirt, and it's not like it was necessary for there to be much if any glass due to the nature of that window and the shutters and ledge.

Would you have chosen that high window for access to the cottage over lower points? WHy?

There were no bars on it and from the ground he would be unseen and could easily slip away into the foliage without being seen by anyone if there was an unexpected response to the rock being thrown. If he goes in that balcony he's exposed the whole time he's climbing up there and while he breaks the (thicker) glass.

of course, you think all the DNA evidence against Raff and Knox is dubious. if that same knife and bra clasp had Rudy DNA on it, you wouldn't be ssaying this.

There is some of Rudy's DNA evidence which is also rather weak, what was found inside Meredith for instance. Also the additional evidence garnered through the return trip six weeks later does raise some of the same questions, but being as there's (virtually) no innocent explanation outside his story for any of his traces being there, and in his story he does almost nothing outside the bathroom no one cares about (Filomena's where he left the dump) it's damned deadly difficult to imagine how that much of his DNA could have gotten where it did. Plus the murder room is what the Polizia Scientifica spent most of it's time on, being as that's where the murder was, and where evidence of murder would be found.

Amanda's trace DNA was all over the rest of the cottage due to her living there. Raffaele had been there and of course had a relationship with Amanda and when she returned to take a shower probably had Raffaele's DNA on her due to them spending the previous night in such close quarters, plus of course he was there for the discovery.

That's not the case with any of Rudy Guede's DNA, it had (virtually) no other means of transmission outside the murder.

I suspect his interest stems from the recent TV interviews, and he has gotten his information from PMF/TJMK. They are still pitching a lot of non-existent evidence.

I'd hate to be in the position where I was asserting that Knox is a bright woman. she's real dumb. read that written declaration again. if that doesn't make you laugh at its shear stupidity, something is wrong.

she comes across as a little girl who is trying to sucker her dumb daddy is letting her off the hook.

you are relying on a clerk who works at a mall for your information. he's probably going to be in a bit of legal trouble with the Italian justice system soon, as well. they take defamation real seriously over there. I personally wouldn't want to risk legal trouble to make up stuff in the name of Amanda Knox but he's a white knight so I guess he thinks it's worth it.

you act like you are one smart dude but you are defending one of the dumbest women on the planet in Knox. you don't get dumber than that woman, just look at her writing in that written declaration. Uni of Washington had to be embarrassed she was a student there. she's real dumb.

for the record, I don't like the two liberal moderaters of PMF, the only thing of value on that site is their translations and court transcripts. I think true justice is a decent website although somewhat confusing in its organization of the information but they do have some pretentious sorts there who try to tie their liberal worldview to their belief Knox is guilty which is absurd. they also do a lot of bubble gum psychology and mind reading (statement analysis is what they call it) on there as well which seems like hack stuff to me.

so why didn't find the other two roommates' blood/dna mixed with the victim's blood? they all lived there, right?

they aren't ever going to convince majority of 8 jury members that rudy went in through that high window. the reality is the cottage had been broken in to before, and the access point was the balcony both times. there's absolutely no evidence he broke in through that window and the break in was clearly staged unless you think it was just about sniffing through the other roommate's clothing. it appeared the window was broken from the inside with the external shutters preventing any glass from falling to the ground below. then you had glass on time of the ransacked clothing in the room, which makes no sense unless the break in was staged.
