Merged Boston Marathon CTs

I'm going to assume there's nothing to make of it because it's from Infowars.com. Find me another source.

Can't vouch for this, but in another Boston Bombing thread a poster reported that someone has ran down the suspect's father in Dagastan, and he is putting out a "They were patsies for the US Government" line. Expect the conspiracy kooks to latch on to this in a New York Minute if the daddy really said that...

He might be a hero of the marathon bombing conspiracy crowd

Now it being reported that Russia Today has ran down the mother and she is spouting the same line.
I am shocked...SHOCKED....that RT is sympathetic to conspiracy theorists......

Sounds kinda hearsay at the moment. If they did in fact find the parents and they did say that, then they did exactly what any parent would do...Find it almost impossible that there child is capable of such an action.

I imagine thats a tough pill for any parent to shallow especially when it's still this fresh.

That and more...
The elder Tsarnaev, in a series of conversations with ABC News, insisted that his sons were innocent, but said he would appeal to his son to "surrender peacefully."

"Give up. Give up. You have a bright future ahead of you. Come home to Russia," the dad said.

The father warned, however, "If they killed him, then all hell would break loose."

"If they kill my second child, I will know that it is an inside job, a hit job. The police are to blame," the father told ABC News. "Someone, some organization is out to get them."

Anzor Tsarnaev said that his sons were "set up" and that they are "very nice kids" who have no experience with weapons and explosives.

Well,Tsarnev jr. does have a bright future,if you consider life imprisonment in the Maximum Security wing of that federal prison in Colorado bright......

I distrust infowars as much as you do. I don't believe it likely to be
al-qaeda. However, an expert from the Swedish National Defence College said these terrorist might have been radicalized on the internet and that there are terrorist groups tailoring propaganda to gain recruits for doing acts of terror. There might be some information about motive if we could understand what he says. Btw it is the right guy who is speaking in the video? I think it looks like him but I can't be sure. Need more information or confirmation of course.

This sort of denial pretty much happens in every case where someone commits a sudden act of violence. Family and friends simply can't process the disconnect between their perception of the person and their actions; the conspiracy theorists have just given them a new avenue to do so in this case.

Cop killers tend to get killed, before apprehended.

True, and of course it is a strong possiblity that the guy might decide to go out in a "you will never take me alive, copper" blaze of glory.
I admit that is kinda hope he is taken alive just because I want to see what the formal full indictment would look like. It would be as impressive as hell.Four counts of Murder One, and that is just for openers;every body who was serously wounded in the bomb attack is a seperate felony, and you can throw in armed robbery and car jacking on top like a cherry on a sunday.Might be one of the longest indictments in US Legal History.

I read it as a single post that didn't read "Classy", quite the contrary, and thanks to my awesome browser I was able to go back and rescue the original after I read what followed. You could have edited the first one and replaced the text, that would have looked more honest. But yes, it was appropriate to remove it, and no, I didn't report it.

Report anything you think is a violation, that's fine with me. But your accusations of dishonesty are wrong.

As I was composing the original, JREF slowed to a crawl. I didn't realize it and, after accidently submitting, continued to work on the original as if it had not been submitted. I deleted the text, replaced it with "classy" and submitted. When I reviewed the thread, I saw I had mistakenly double posted; both the intended and unintended comments were there. Obviously, had I not double posted I would have simply edited the change. So I deleted the text from the first, unintended post and labeled it a duplicate because I thought that was the appropriate way to handle it. Again, if it wasn't then it's my mistake. But there wasn't any lying or trickery... I don't play those kinds of games.

I spent about 5 minutes on GLP/ATS before I couldn't take it anymore.

Here is what just really gets to me about the conspiracy mongering. No matter what the facts are, its a conspiracy. Before any suspects were listed, the idiots on ATS were proclaiming that it would be a (A) white domestic terrorist OR (B) middle eastern person so that we could either (A) take your guns away/implement martial law OR (B) get involved in some foreign war. So now we find out its neither, and its STILL a conspiracy.

And, as expected the rest of the conspiracy mongering is completely based on the assumption that either (1) the suspects are criminal masterminds and thus would only do X, Y, Z and never A, B, C or (2) it must be a made up event because of inaccuracies in media reporting. How little do you have to know about crime to understand that most criminals are not masterminds, and that crime is almost never committing using what we could call "logic" or "reason." And how dumb do you have to be to not understand that in an environment of breaking news, most reports will be inaccurate because the media is more concerned with getting news out than accuracy?

How dumb do you have to be? Dumb enough to be your average GLPer or ATSer, apparently. What is so hilarious about these crackpots is that the reality is quite opposite. If the media was reporting 100% accurate information with 0 inaccuracies then THAT would support a conspiracy because it would seem like a script. If the suspects were making criminal genius level moves like using sophisticated explosives or fleeing to a country where we can't extradite them, THAT would be evidence of conspiracy because clearly were not dealing with that level of criminal intelligence. But, nope...as usual, no matter what the facts are, they must support a conspiracy.
