Bigfoot DNA

I've run into this before, some people mistake basic courtesy to mean much more than it actually does. I don't know who this person is that feels like they are kin to Dr. Sykes but I'm waiting to see what Dr. Sykes has to say about all of this.

Might just be an early spring romance.

Don't subsequent photos show this to be a guy in a sleeping bag or wrapped in a blanket, or is this a different event?

http://bigfootevidence.blogspot.fr/2012/10/the-full-disclosure-extreme-expedition.html :
...The sequence shows the only two people that EE (Extreme Expeditions) has clarified as sleeping outside that night, which is Cryptozoologist Adam Davies and researcher Lori Simmons....

...and the video shows clearly (IMO) that the "Big Guy" wears a headlamp ( see the light beam moving with his head), just like Adam Davies (the guy of the pics) does:

My prediction is that the world of bigfootery will not be too happy with Dr. Sykes next year.

But next year there will be dozens of new sightings and hundreds of people who would believe the claimants. None of them will give a damn about Sykes. Bigfootery marches onwards no matter what happens. All that is required for Bigfootery is gullible and eccentric people. The world has plenty of them.

In the spring of the year
in the spring of the year

I walked with bigfoot
It was all so clear

In the fall of the year
In the fall of the year

There was no bigfoot
I had a tear

Tis not his going that haunts my days
But that he went in such little ways.

With apologies to Edna

My point is that there's just no evidence that Wally Hersom backs or has backed the TBRC as he backs or has backed the BFRO, the OP, Ketchum... (afaik).

Thanks Castro. We know about these because the organizations themselves revealed so or a reporter did in association with an article he was doing on them or Hersom.

The TBRC is very slippery, and it has been a while since I was looking into their stuff but they were below some dollar amount that the IRS has for making public reports. The big tax exempt foundations have to make public reports. TBRC doesn't.

But in their materials they were talking about all the trail cams that they got donated, which were of course going to be the gimmick that once and for all proved the existence of bigfoot. I can't remember if I found a direct link to Hersom back then or if I made that inference because he was doing the same thing in the Pacific Northwest.

But regardless - someone donated all of those trail cams according to their own publications. They were supposedly some expensive new generation camera. Personally I am shocked with the failure to capture bigfoot with them because I was certain this would do the trick.

Once you have a deep pocket like that donating all these cameras then you also justify your own expenses as tax-deductable for what amounts to recreation. Your transportation, food, clothes - anything you can pretend is in conjunction with this fake bigfoot tax-exempt organization's alleged projects in Area X.

I would love to have my recreational expenses (oops I mean research) tax deductible. For example, my re-creation of Roger Patterson's trip to Thailand. Airfare, hotel, restaurants, my "field assistants" ;) etc. All tax deductible. Who else gets to write off their expenses taking their family on vacation to national parks? Have their fancy cameras paid for by someone else. I'll bet they have great bear and deer pictures in frames on the walls of their own homes. I intend to have some pictures from my Thailand Research Expedition too. Those will also not be of bigfoot.

Talking about non-profit organizations, the Melba Ketchum Global Sasquatch Foundation is presented as such here:
http://www.melbaketchum.org/about-us/
"The Melba Ketchum Global Sasquatch Foundation is a non-profit organization founded to protect the indigenous Sasquatch people from threats to their peaceful coexistence alongside us."

but actually it seems to be registered as a "general business" (for-profit) entity:
http://www.bizapedia.com/tx/GLOBAL-SASQUATCH-FOUNDATION.html

and the IRS's Exempt Organization Search gives no result for a Global Sasquatch Foundation in Garland TX.

Ketchum project in print

The chronology of the Ketchum Project is now in print. It's a multi-page, rather exhaustive writeup in Skeptical Briefs. It's not online yet, only in paper copy. This forum was a HUGE help in figuring out what happened and getting references for each statement (even if they were blog posts). There are 55 references.

A shorter version will be in the news section of the next Skeptical Inquirer.

As is typical, I expect ZERO response from the Bigfoot community. They only listen to other bleevers.

Excellent work.

April Fools Day is a bad day for Melba!

First she used as a reference a well known april fools day paper from a journal, and now yesterday, some pranksters put up a spoof website explaining that they would be sueing Texas dept of wildlife for allowing the hunting of BF.
Within minutes our old friend Robin Lynne Haynes pfeifer forest people posts a comment prodly naming her boss as the go to in bigfoot as a species, a few hours later Melba styarts crowing on her FB page.

So today of course she has to walk it all back, so obviously the pranksters have set back bigfoot research by making a joke out of it!

Hellow Robin - hows the alias game going? care to give us a hint on what the next edition of your name will be?

The best part of Ketchum's post is her statement that the ALDF hurt her study's legitimacy. Apparently only Ketchum's allowed to do that.

Do you really think someone who is claiming that BIGFOOT is braiding her horse's hair, and eating blueberry bagels, in Western Michigan, cares even a smidge, about her paper's legitimacy?

The only thing this person is looking for, is acceptance among Bigfooters as their fearless DNA Pioneer.
