Who said you have to repay the bank with "money"?

All you have to do is return to the bank the "empty promise" (AKA promissory note) that the bank lent you and which you used to buy the house and the debt is extinguished.
 
Not sure if this has been posted but President Tim Turner of the Republic of the United States (otherwise known as RuSA, a collection of soverign fruitcakes who think they are the real government) has been convicted! Another STUNNING success! Lets just look at how successful this one was:

I mean, what more proof could we need that soverign citizen ideology is real and legitimate? This HUGE SUCCESS has been so successful that the soverign, who thinks hes actually the President, could spend the rest of his life in prison and have every penny hes ever owned taken in fines.

By the way, I'm still not quite sure how President Tim ended up being arrested to begin with. After all, according to him and his Republic followers (there are about 500 of them across the US) he is the real US President and Obama is just the de facto corporation President. I mean surely they explained to the jury that this was all a mistake since Mr. Turner is President. I'm sure the jury loved it.

A truly sad day but there is a message of hope:

This quote that they often use is amusing for a few reasons. First, I have clearly won according to it. I didn't achieve anything during the visit, but a win nonetheless. Second, in true freeman fashion, fact checking would point out that there is no clear evidence that this was actually said by Gandhi. Wikipedia lists it as disputed.

I also must be onto something because of the degree of resistance and attempts to suppress my opinion. I think I had 3 accounts corrupted during my visit as well as a possible IP ban (site doesn't work at one location now for some reason).

Apparently the judgement is more interesting than the case itself, which is standard FotL stuff. Though, even though it's "making the rounds", I can't find it anywhere. Anyone has better luck?

Yes, I have received and read R. v. Duncan, but to the best of my knowledge it has not yet been filed in any database or other location accessible by the public. The written decision was issued on March 26, 2013, but the version I have does not have a neutral citation assigned. I suspect the formal version will appear on the CanLII website (http://www.canlii.org) within the next week or so.

It's a fun read, and does a nice job of illustrating both how FOTL concepts are not accepted by the court, but that judges make every effort to treat all litigants in a fair manner.

Wow, it is a real shame that the goobers who make up the FMOTL movement can't read that for what it is. It is absolute proof that their "the courts are corrupt" argument is false. Here a judge specifically says if the the arrest is unlawful the resisting arrest is lawful. My guess is that at most 1 out of 100 of them have the intellectual wherewithal to understand it. Fun read, thanks.
 
Excellent, and a perfect example of what a senior lawyer once described to me as the "10% rule:" 10% of the time in criminal proceedings, something will go wrong in the presentation of the Crown's case that will lead to an acquittal, whether the offence was committed or not.
 
Sadly, the freemen will only focus on the part where he was acquitted and claim it as a freeman victory.
 
That might be the first actual freeman success story in some 38 pages of posts in this thread. A man succeeded in winning his case while using only freeman arguments. And it's fully documented. I think it is a first.
