Why is this hilarious?

The situation is obviously not hilarious; it's tragic. The hilarious bit I think is you arguing that no planes hit the WTC and a high energy weapon was used.

Tell that to the estimated 50-200 casualties who were instanty injured or killed when the tip of the left plane wing struck the 78th floor sky lobby. Many people were waiting for express elevators here to evacuate after the north tower had been hit.

Palmer reported multiple dead bodies when he reached that floor. Only a dozen or so made it out of the building who had been in that lobby at the time of impact and they too reported many injured and dead which ascending firefighters then relayed these reports to the ground.

The initial impact and fires on the 78th floor were relatively small compared to the floors above it yet deadly enough to kill 50-200. As this floor was not filled with offices and furnature, the fires had less fuel to sustain them unlike those above. Palmer said 2 ladder teams with hoses were needed to fight those 2 isolated pockets of fire - thats around a dozen men just to fight those fires.

If the fires in the towers were so small, non-lethal, or incapable of causing steel to weaken, why did virtually all those at or above the impact zones not make it out alive? Why did 100-200 escape the smoke and heat by leaping to their deaths?

It should be noted you are not a firefighter, first responder, or resue worker and thus have no expert knowledge of the terminology used in emergency situations.

It's just about the only thing she admitted being wrong about. Although why anyone would believe something like that in the first place is telling.

I recall her claiming the B-25 was sticking out of the ESB like a dart, I can't see that on the pictures.

Clearly a DEW created that hole in the Empire State Building, the conspiracy goes right back to 1945! "They" tested creating plane impact holes with these weapons almost 70 years ago!

Comparing the WTC and ESB crashes and saying "the ESB didn't collapse!" is pretty ridiculous too.

Much smaller plane, much slower speed and differences in building structure.

The article you posted did have some interesting quotes though.

The Looney Tunes view of collisions, either the plane hits and bounces off or it enters intact and leaves a perfect plane sized hole.

All we need is for a truther to argue that the plane used its air brakes to skid to a stop in front of the building and we'll have a trifecta.

My assertion that fires weren't widespread at the WTC comes from many different angles and many different lines of evidence.

This audio barely rises to the surface as even important, let alone the most obvious reason the WTC wasn't suffering from devastating fires. (snip)

In the military, we have what are called "lessons learned."

In small unit tactics, the LL that's drilled into everybody goes all the way back to Custer and the 7th Cav - summed up - if you believe what you see in front of you is the totality of the situation, you can be fatally incorrect.

That rule applies to this situation as well.

a collision between an airplane and a building is said to have taken place.

I didn't find thermite in my WTC dust samples.
Iron fragments? Yes, in large abundance.
Iron oxide fragments? Also, yes.

No thermite, though.
