Racist incidents reported at Oberlin College

I am extremely skeptical about these claims of racism at Oberlin. I think they were all faked by some radical black group on campus. We have all see these types of claims in the past only to be proven a hoax.

They are nothing but commie liberals on campus. People walking around in Klan robes?

Campus officials sent this email to students. It appears the college administration is part of this hoax.

"We are here to notify you all that there has been yet another bias and racist event on campus. A person wearing KKK regalia was spotted on South Campus around midnight near the ELC and South. This has been another event in a string of several reflecting a terrible pattern of racism, prejudice, queerphobia, anti-semitism and other bias attacks that are happening on Oberlin's campus. At this time, advocacy, support and solidarity are necessary emotionally, physically and spiritually."

The students who attend Oberlin are suckers and fools to believe any of this.
 
Riiiiight. It's a conspiracy by the College administration. Because that's waaay more likely than a couple of local drunken teens being jackasses. :rolleyes:

The college administration in their statement essentially confirmed the incidents were real, expressing no skepticism, contributing to fear on campus.

"Real" does not preclude drunk jackass teens.

The reported sighting of KKK regalia is the latest in a spate of incidents on Oberlin's campus. According to an incident report provided by the Oberlin Police Department, 15 hate-related events have been reported in the last month alone.

Police have not yet been able to substantiate the reports of the alleged KKK regalia sighting.

We have both KKK and swastika incidents reported. This is an unlikely combination for a genuine racist. If it was real, it would be one or the other, but not both.

Why do you think it so unlikely that racism is occurring somewhere? Racism isn't unheard of. I see it all the time, by reading your posts.
