God killed innocent children. The flood and the first born of Egypt. The morality of decent humans beings is far better than the morality of god. We don't think killing children is okay.

Free agency is an integral part of Eternal Law. The suffering of the innocent is a consequence of the choices and actions of the causal perpetrators, whose actions brought the evil which incurred the wrath of God. It is the wicked who have transgressed Eternal Law NOT God. The innocent may suffer for a short space of time, but their reward will be Eternal, and in contrast to the punishment of the wicked.

But he is the almighty and all powerful god! Why couldn't he just smite the evil and leave the innocent alone, or do you think that all the newborns were evil as well as their parents?
Can animals be evil? Why send a flood to cover the whole earth and kill every living thing except a chosen few in a boat when he could easily just target the evil? And if he couldn't do that then surely he is not all powerful and just a big phoney.
