The fact that I know these comments are overblown is one reason I'll be attending.

I don't care if a bunch of people are boycotting this event because they're too judgemental, or something, to handle it. I'm going to attend, anyway, because I get a ton of value out of doing so. And, I know the vast majority of folks there are really intelligent, witty and friendly people. Even if they are not perfect. And, even if a small percentage of the crowd are jerks.

I have no idea if I'm a member. I've donated money over the years, maybe I am. I've always signed up as a member, and no one has ever said I wasn't.

Because I like to give each major browser a chance to be used every now and then.

I have IE, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari installed on most of my computers, and I swap between using each one every now and then, almost randomly, for different things, at different times.
