I just watched a few minutes of that video, but Menard is boring and tedious at the best of times, and it quickly became painfully obvious that Menard is still just as clueless as he ever was about the law in general, and about the law of libel specifically. If he actually thinks that he can successfully sue a judge for libel for what a judge has written in his reasons for judgment on a case, he is utterly delusional.

He can ramble on all day long if he likes about qualified privilege (and he can continue to get it wrong all day long as he has done in this stupid video of his), but when it comes to court proceedings and judgments, it's not even qualified privilege that applies but, rather, it is absolute privilege that applies.

He might want to look it up, because any lawsuit that Menard purports to bring against Justice Rooke for libel will be quickly dismissed on a motion to dismiss for failure to disclose a reasonable cause of action - since such an action would be entirely untenable and unsustainable as a matter of law - and Menard will be ordered to pay the costs of the defence. It's a complete no-brainer.

Oh, wait. It's Menard we're talking about here; the no-brainer bit probably explains his laughable ineptitude and his vapid, nonsensical, and utterly toothless threats of bringing such an action in court.

And he purports to think that Justice Rooke is actually D'rok and that Justice Rooke was conspiring with members here? Seriously? I have to doubt that Menard actually thinks that or believes that, but if he genuinely does, that would indicate to me that he's nudging right up against a Form 1 level of delusional. I am inclined to think that it's just more of his usual blathering, blustering, blowhard nonsense designed to try to fleece money from whatever idiots he might be able to con, but if he actually believes this nonsense that he spews, I hope that someone who knows him and cares about him gets him to a psychiatrist for evaluation tout de suite.

Are the people who still still support his stupidity his minions? I would have thought that they were more like his Lab. Rats, as he gets them to do his dirty work, and to "test" the validity of what he is saying, because he has not got the wherewithal to do the work or test his own ideas himself.

Then whenever things go wrong at all, he simply throws them under a bus and goes on his merry way with even less followers. But I suppose you can always find one or two rats to experiment on, and Menard is so self-centred he does not care who gets hurt or how, even when they are following his somewhat inebriated directions.

I have no idea what he hopes to achieve, so what if I set out to destroy the reputation of a conman on the internet, surely thats to be applauded in todays society?

I have, from time to time, wondered what will happen when our narcissistic subject is confronted with the reality that he has wasted the last two or three decades on his own band of insanity.

I think we see now how our subject’s clash with reality unfolds. Not with more sanity. . . but less.

And it's interesting that he obsesses on the reason you're after him being that he "didn't answer your questions", as if that alone was what inspired your efforts, as opposed to, that simply being the final step in you concluding that he is, in fact, a conman, rather than just insane or honestly misguided.

That Menard might mess up some innocent guy’s life because he wrongly thinks the guy is JB is not inconceivable.

Despite the fact that his lame theory that D’Rok is really Judge Rooke is nothing more than wishful conjecture a few freeman forum denizens are already convinced the Fezzed One’s theory is fact !

He's on at the Heritage Grill 447 Columbia Street New Westminster on the 17th February and it kicks off at 7pm if you're interested.
Its $10 on the door. :rolleyes:
Basically he's going to disguise his snake oil as a comedy show so he doesn't get the venue kaiboshed again.

The Heritage Grill has mediocre reviews and a broken website. Its Twitter feed doesn't say anything about RM, and I didn't see anything on its Facebook page about him. I'm betting he's renting their back room and hoping to sell enough tickets to cover the cost, and maybe sell one or two of his DVDs while he's there.
