I noted your attempt to change the subject away from the National Academies report on the safety of the current vaccine schedule when you posted your "rabid" comment. But I went with the derail because I found it amusing that you would poke fun at the pro-vaxers by using "rabid" when the prevention of rabies is among the most dramatic demonstrations of the power of vaccines in history.

You then tried to pretend that "infected by rabies" isn't really a valid definition of "rabid," and are now trying to change the subject again by resorting to an emotional appeal about the "horrors" of vaccines.

But, let's get back to the National Academies report.

First, will you at least acknowledge that it represents a study of the safety of the multiple vaccinations currently recommended in the US? I'm not asking if you agree with their conclusions (I'm sure you don't). I am only asking if you agree the study was performed.

It was a study of the safety of vaccines as currently given, yes? So can we rely on you to no longer post that such a safety study has never been performed, yes? And that you recognize that it was a US study and was not funded by drug companies? And that if you disagree with the conclusions of this study, written by the top scientists and doctors in the country, you will give specific, well thought out reasons, rather than "Stupid!" or "Absurd!" or "Shills?"

Because anything else would be dishonest, yes?

Why do you assume that the "pro-vaxers" here aren't vaccinated and/or haven't had their families vaccinated? I been immunized with every vaccine recommended for my age. My children were vaccinated with just the schedule that leaves you so horrified! They never had a bad reaction (except for temporary arm soreness that was instantly compensated of by cuddles and ice cream). They are now completely healthy adults!

Oh, but I forgot! Vaccines cause "silent injuries" that are never detected, even in a massive study by the National Academies (not to mention all the other scientific studies that have been performed over the years). I guess "silent" is the same as non-existent in this context.

All through my schooldays my entire class was vaccinated from time to time. Nobody ever suffered from side effects. It protected us from all sorts of horrid diseases. What's wrong with that? Why is Clayton such a fan of diseases?

More than 100 people have, or are suspected to have, measles, in one of the worst outbreaks in the North East in recent years.

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said the disease was mainly spreading among unvaccinated schoolchildren and it was "seriously" concerned.

Am I to presume that you are claiming that your so-called silent injuries are never associated with vaccinations because they are "silent?" If they are silent, how are they injuries?

Did you intend to refer not to silent injuries, but to injuries that only appear late after vaccination? If so, the studies that have been cited for you in this thread would indeed have shown an association between those late onset injuries and having once been vaccinated, if such injuries had, in fact, occurred. Which, as it turns out, they didn't.

Of course I may be completely misunderstanding your cryptic remark.

Meanwhile, do you have ANY evidence that vaccinations cause autism?
