I think guns owners should just be honest and admit that they like guns because they they think, "I own guns because I think, guns are sexy!," and not try to intellectualize this issue because they looks stupid doing so and don't have the numbers to enforce their will on the rest of us.

It's just sad that there must've been dozens of individuals with car keys present during the incident, and yet none of them was able to help subdue the gunmen.

So yeah, easy access to guns had nothing to do with this. And besides, if only the teachers were armed, they would have sniped him from the lounge during recess.

Hopefully one of the shooters was a good, God-fearing, NRA card-carrying CCW'er who prevented any further injuries or deaths with their superb tactical skills, situational awareness and considerable firearms safety training.

On a more serious note; since we're dealing with two gunmen whom witnesses seem to remember being in a heated non-shooting argument just before the shooting, it's extremely unlikely that we're dealing with two individuals who were mentally anomalous and bent on violence meeting each other by chance; but rather more likely two individuals who carried guns "for self defense" and got angry.
