Every time I hear the birther tripe, I think of this scene from lethal Weapon 2.

Regarding the caller on the Alex Jones show claiming that both parents must be U.S. citizens:

"Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution sets the principal qualifications one must meet to be eligible to the office of president. A president must: be a natural-born citizen of the United States;" -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_of_the_United_States

"The Constitution does not define the phrase natural-born citizen, and various opinions have been offered over time regarding its precise meaning." -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural-born_citizen_of_the_United_States

So it actually seems unclear what the law actually says! Later in the second Wikipedia article it says that "The weight of legal and historical authority indicates that the term "natural born" citizen would mean a person who is entitled to U.S. citizenship "by birth" or "at birth", either by being born "in" the United States and under its jurisdiction, even those born to alien parents;"

But that's not a law!

A. Yes, it is the law. Your definition of law is wrong. Judicial and Administrative law is still law.

B. By your own standards, the nonsense you said ISN'T THE LAW EITHER.

...but the Supreme Court has, and Obama fits their definition.

Conspiracy theorists stop searching for evidence once they find something (anything) that supports their preconceived theory. That often means ignoring evidence that doesn't along the way.

Due to length, this thread has been spilt to a continuation thread.
