Just to clarify something, Assange was never questioned in relation to the incident with Sofia, the one that is the basis of the rape allegation. He only answered questions about his relationship with Anna.
It was also made very clear to him that the prosecutor wanted to reinterveiw him, and while he was allowed to leave, it was on the condition he returned. The interveiw was ready to happen before he left, but according to his lawyer, he was unable to contact Assange for a week and then he learned Assange had travelled to the UK.
This in itself is puzzling behaviour. When you know that the investigation has been reopened, why would you avoid your laywer and then leave the country without telling them what you are doing and where you are going?
