Ed Rob Menard's FOTL Claims

Maybe Rob could post a scanned copy for us somewhere? Posting a bulleted list isn't really giving any kind of notice since its extremely clear that those mentioned in his list would not be expected to accept any legal interpretation of his and would need the actual filed document before taking any action (even if the action involves hysterical laughter).

He says it was filed against "a John Doe", but lists 4 names, so 'a' singular of the 4 is named.

"The Statement of Claim will be amended " meaning that these things are not claimed and are not relevant.

These of course being legal guesses, but for somebody playing word games, the wording is a bit sloppy.

Would you risk the chance of Menard getting your bank details?

It was at the court's website, not his. They have a $6 download fee. There might be people around who could get it for free, though, so I'll wait a bit and see if it turns up before spending money on it.

It is a well known fact that I, and others, have contacted the various organizations whose halls Menard has sought for his lectures to let them know who and what Menard is and inform them that he seeks to use their facilities for the purpose of promoting his schemes.

Oh, so I guess he must have got a hold of a letter you sent to this place in Victoria. That explains it.

I didn’t say one thing about Menard that isn’t true.

Besides the fact that he doesn’t have the attention span to finish anything more than a bong hit Menard knows that dragging folks into court only to have it re-established that he’s a con man is a losing proposition for the WFS franchise.

To the Fezzed One it's only about fund raising and keeping current in the FMOTL subculture.

I suspect that in order to explain away his powerlessness Menard will claim that I am hiding. But, the fact is I am the one who, out of courtesy he doesn’t deserve, send him copies of the emails sent to the organizations to whom he misrepresented himself by pretending his “lectures” met their use guidelines.

See there, freemen. . .your guru is playing games with your money!

Robert has already been asking for money on Facebook to fund his case, this filing will convince some halfwits he's going ahead with it and he will probably scrape in a few bucks.
The case however,will never materialise.

He intends to go into the DOCK and STAND UNDER a judge in a court whose jurisdiction he doesn't recognize.

Well no one said he was consistent.

He doesn't need to. All he needs to do, just like with every other con he pulls, is stop talking about it. His marks don't question it.

Please, folks, correct me if I am wrong but I was under the impression that as a result of his many frivolous arguments and court filings Robert A. Menard was ordered not to act as a council, give legal guidance or file court papers in British Columbia.

You are correct sir!

The injunction is against him acting for others. Unless, he is proven incompetent he is always able to represent himself as a layperson.

Thanks. That makes sense since nobody, not even Menard, should be defenseless.

And since he's not a vexatious litigant, he is allowed to file papers with the court.

Provided he pays the filing fees.

Since this shoes up in the registry he's at least paid the initial fee.

"Rent a husband" businesses are usually basically handyman services. Hire someone to do small things around the house that a husband would do in a stereotypical universe, e.g. clean the gutters, move furniture, etc.

I know. And apparently "Thatcher’s affiliations with other local freemen and his increasingly defiant attitude" mean he can't even manage to rent himself out anymore.

Isn't that, like, the opposite of what he was going for?

Sorry, I should have checked. I'm always slightly careful when it comes to hyperlinks. Apologies
