Huh. I think I understand the point you're trying to make, but that is actually an incredibly offensive thing to say.

I submit that a person who goes through life believing that people who don't understand their experiences are somehow sinning against them and need to be forgiven... is a dick.

If somebody were to say that to me, I'd be inclined to punch them in the nose, on the general principle that if somebody is that eager to forgive me for something, I might as well give them a legitimate complaint.

ETA: Wait, that's kind of what's already going on with Atheism Plus and its active opponents. How's that working out? Are all the disagreements resolved yet?

Those disagreements never will be worked out. A+ is simply the oppressed trying their hands at being the oppressors.

Oh, wow, Atheism+ really is the gift that keeps on giving. Now, we have somebody proposing a rating system for atheists:

I'm drafting another atheist categorisation system, on a 7-point scale from A to H, to replace the Dawkins Scale, which I find about as useful as a Microsoft help file. So here I am reaching out for help with my brave new adventure. Down to business.

On my new 7-point scale, the first category - Atheist A - is the lowest difficulty level, to coin a phrase, that will enable anybody to justify their identity as an atheist.

Atheist A - is someone who says that "atheism is merely the lack of belief any gods." Usually the "merely" can be substituted with "nothing more, nothing less" followed by a smug expression brought on by the realisation that the conversation has been well and truly stopped.

Atheist B - agrees that atheism means a lack of belief in gods, but says there's a bit more to it, like, for example, the lack of belief in any gods means that references to God existing in the Bible are quite possibly incorrect...

You see where I'm going with this? Anyway that's 2 down, 5 more to go. Are there any suggestions on how this is going? I'm eager to iron out pitfalls early in the drafting process.

Oh boy, oh boy I hope they have a point system to let you earn enough to move from one level to another! That would be awesome like farm-ville for atheists.

The key word there is Dawkins (because of the consequences of his elevatorgate position).

They are engaged in "King of the Hill," which is about alpha wanna-bees (A+) tearing down the current alpha (Dawkins). Nothing that's said in the endeavor needs to make sense. It only has to seem like it makes sense to whomever they are trying to impress. I'd assume PZ is smart enough to see through this, but he can't play the "here's reality" card, or those cackling witches will turn on him. PZ, being an old white male, is unworthy of alpha status in the A+ movement, so has to pretty much go wherever the group goes.

Now i am really tempted to make "victim" troll account and do the covert ops trolling that will end in them fighting over how big a victim i am - without even realising that i am troll.

Ill think i crate a 31 year old woma victim and start the story of how her uncle was so "chatolic priest" to her and her dad didint belive her and her brother took her virginity or something. To make it more dramatic, ill add how she live in Texas and how something happened to her mother, preferebly at child birth (doctors could not do something because of some religios commandment).

Hows that for a starter?

why? whatpossible reason could you have for doing this other than having fun mocking people who may have suffered some of the things you will lie about?

But people posting stuff about the nasty things that have happened in their life isn't the crazy thing about a+. They are the vulnerable people myriad has mentioned. The crazy stuff is the crass interpretation of internationality and the sophomoric approach to social issues coupled with a totalitarian attitude.
 
I dont think you are catching my drift. The point is to make satirical over the top victim like character and see how how long, if at all, any of the members might start calling bull.

Besides, anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together should know that A+ forums is not victim safe zone - NO PUBLICKY READABLE FORUM IS.
Victim support groups, real one that i know, have trained personell and strictly monitored acces on the forums.

It is a self-pitty-marathon, whoever scores highest on victim score boards wins a cookie.

/edit: and yes, questioning A+ forums (aka attacking, as they will no doubht see it) to dismantle the bogus claims A+ has will in long run help any real victims of violent crimes to get out of there. I think you all agree that A+ having a "safe space" to rape victims reputations do not actually serve the victims needs, but the tight groip of demagogues that run that place. Advertaising hot pot as a safe space for lobster is not doing any good for the lobster, but seving the cheff.

I think the A+ forum has sort-of reached its capacity now. They don't seem particularly comfortable with new people turning up, it is likely to fizzle out from the perspective of being a burgeoning movement. I still imagine it will stick around with maybe a dozen active members for the forseeable future though.

I guess you know that this is a publicly readable forum, too, so your posts here are visible to members of the A+ forums. Which, apart from anything else, does not reflect well on this forum.

I have no idea whether I agree or not, since I'm unable to make out what you're trying to say. I would suggest that you're maybe not cut out for spoofing on other forums if you can't post without including potentially identifying mistakes.
 
I am sorry, i happen to be a tad tipsy. What i meant to convey in my message is that A+ forums credibility as legitimate "safe space" should be challenged in the interest of actual victims not ending up in there.

I can see the idea of challenging them about it, but in situations like this, it's a good idea to remain the good guy. Pretending to be a victim in a forum where there may well be genuine victims is a way to not be the good guy. The A+ people already think that this kind of thing is routinely going on. It's a bit uncomfortably like Edward Norton and Helena Bonham Carter going to cancer support groups in Fight Club. I don't think there's a way to tell people "I pretended to be a rape victim on the Internet" and make it sound good.

People on the A+ forum are dishonest, vicious and cruel. I don't think they are best combated with more of the same.
