2012 Debates

Only if you call getting anally gang-raped in prison a good time.

It's not that kind of debate this time around; there's not going to be a 70-30 margin in favor of ryan like there was for Romney in last weeks "debate win". Biden's performing much better than Obama did in the debate with Romney last week. His problem is that he's making himself look arrogant, and snide which will excite a lot of democrats that wanted the Obama-Biden ticket to toughen up, but it's risks losing appeal to independent voters because he gets remembered for the negatives more than the substance. I've never liked Biden because it's a compulsive habit of his.

Wow!

No more debates between Obama and Romney, please.

Just make the next two between Biden and Ryan. :)

I agree.:) Presidential candidates are so worried about offending one group they make sure to offend no one, which is why when they talk they don't say anything at all.

Don't forget the smirking when anyone is talking about dead Americans in Libya

You mean this smirking when talking about dead Americans in Libya?

Yep, Biden got his orders and followed them; it's not like he has anywhere else to go ... ;)

I'm not watching until later, but based on the kvetching, I'm going to guess that Ryan is getting destroyed...

Quite a bit different than when Obama got blitzed, innit?

He's definitely winning. Destroying.... Well if that's what you want to see, you'll see it... But that is a bit much.

Good point by Biden on Roe v. Wade in the future SCOTUS.

Oh, did I touch a nerve by touching on the truth there?

But if you want your crap to be believed, even by the most ignorant, show the videos so they are in context; unless you can't because it is just BS stills from god-nose-where.

Gosh, I hope you are getting paid for your efforts here, like a few others!!

I liked Biden's point on having a personal view on abortion but that it's wrong to force that view on the rest of Americans. Ryan wants to do the opposite, as evidence in his Personhood bill.

I don't think Biden is 'destroying'. Both are very good debaters. I think Biden is doing better, and coming across as more mature, knowledgeable, and someone easier to relate to.

I don't see him interrupting much, or unduly, I don't particular like his big grins. And I don't particularly like Ryan's smirk. But I don't think either's face will tilt the debate conclusion either way.

Conspiracy forum is that-a-way. Don't forget to pick up your Romney/Ryan cheque on your trip there!

And I doubt Bidens smirking is going to hurt him any more than it did Romney.
It's good to remember that there seemed to be many ways to pick apart Romneys performance right after the debate, but going by the the following polls, the only thing that mattered was that he won.

Why does Ryan keep talking about bi-partisanship, and working with the democrats, when the Republicans pretty much refused all of that in the past 4 years?

I didn't like it at all. I would have quizzed him on term limits and fetal rights. Most people are neither fully prolife or pro choice. It's a much more nuisanced debate then a presidential debate ever gets into.
