Elbe Trackway

Yet they seem to have cast lots of the small prints...

Thom Powell's blog had a picture displaying a variety of casts taken, noting that some of them were human prints. Which then begs the question, why did they cast human prints?

Word is the e-mail notifying about the trackway included pictures. So, who took the pictures and where were they standing?

They smelled a rat before they went to investigate. Maybe the rat left his prints next to the trackway. I wonder if we should play Cinderella, and see who's feet match the casts?

I don't think so. They were very enthusiastic about the trackway for quite a while. In fact, the trackway was defended as real when people began questioning what they saw in the photos.

I think it's pretty clear that the sceptics and the regular footers were more on the ball than the "professional" bigfoot investigators with this trackway.

It is easier for us sceptics, though. We think bigfoot tracks are not real from the get go. We are already pretty sure that bigfoot is not real. We are already pretty sure we know why bigfoot walked through the mud. :)

We are starting from the "proper" position, and it's a shorter trip to the truth from there. :D

Believers usually have a hump or two to get over first. They usually think the tracks are real, thus they are in awe of finding/seeing such, and they usually think "no one would bother to make fake tracks here", which is always a mistake. :)

The BFF thread has been locked.

Wonder if Noll and the other "experts" privately asked it to be locked to save embarassment over their inept "investigation".

If Bigfoot is human or near-human then its feet should also be human or near-human and having a plaster cast of a Bigfoot print to show your friends is way more impressive than simply having a photo. Evidence is rare so take what you can get. Such evidence is useless on its own but when stacked together with other potential/useless evidences (stick formations, rock stacks, blobsquatches, audio, anecdotes) then, instead of simply becoming a pile of carp, it becomes a Bigfoot database...

And there you have it!!

It's well known that bigfoot has a MTB, making it's foot well off of human...right?

Casting fake tracks is pretty useless...are you going to show fake track casts to your friends?

Evidence for bigfoot is not rare, it's pretty much nonexistent...you have stories, and that's about it...

If some evidence has been conclusively linked to bigfoot, I'm not aware of it.

You are a member of one of the biggest clubs in the World.

Yeah, but they never tell me any of the secrets...

You already know the biggest one when it's comes to BF. A saying my dad once told me when i was 18 and knew everything. " You can't ******** a ***********." In other words, they ain't putting anything past ya cause you already know what's going on.

Tim :)

Tontar's IP address has been confirmed as the origin of the e-mail to the BFRO in the BFF Tar Pit. Now a staunch critic of hoaxing has become one... ironic.

Has been confirmed by whom and how did you come by the information?
Being a skeptic I need a little more information.

Thanks

Seriously, how was it confirmed and who confirmed it? The BFF or did the BFF just release the IP address to the BFRO?

If it is true, how does sending an e-mail to the BFRO prove you are a hoaxer?

Do we know which came first, the disavowal of the tracks by Cliff or the discovery of the link to Tontar?

^^ Not to my knowledge. But a guess would be that they figured it out, then discovered the Tontar IP thingy.

Why did he e-mail the BFRO? Did Tontar report the trackway anonymously or did he use his name, or was the e-mail even about that? I'm still not clear on how e-mailing the BFRO makes you a hoaxer.

I would once again note for the benefit of those bigfoot cult members, pitchfork wavers, would-be detectives, and bystanders who may have lost perspective, that divulging confidential information and harassment via the internet are actually serious matters.

Not to mention the extreme likelihood that believers have been hoaxed semi-continuously for 60 years before the Elbe trackway. For starters take look at kitakaze's file on the Wallace alderfoot trackway at Bluff Creek in 1967.

Lastly, if hypocrisy were a crime, feigned outrage by a member of the cast of the pathetic Finding fireworks Bigfoot show would be good for a long stretch in stir.
