And I think my high school kids have the drama, but this is like a fricken soap opera. I used to think that nobody could be that pathetic, but...
Maybe they are making a play at getting a TLC reality show.

Not ambiguous.
A new development with Matt.
They asked him to apologize for the damage he has caused.
This is his reply.

I have no horse in this race, but if making and posting youtube videos of yourself talking is the new way to discuss things, I'm going Luddite. Why in the world would someone do that? In his car? At lunch?

I tend to agree, though I enjoyed this one. If you're going to produce a YouTube video, it should have dancing cats or someone falling off a roof. There was nothing in that, or in hundreds of other similar video-essays that wouldn't have been far more conveniently and quickly conveyed in text form. It's a way of using vastly more bandwidth to convey less information over a longer period of time.
I can see why conversations tend to be presented that way. It would be a pain to transcribe them. However, that's just a matter of convenience, not preference.
I've added a point you missed.
Some people seem to consider that a positive feature. "If you listen to me speak for five minutes, that makes me and my words seem much more important than if you read my post in 30 seconds -- even though a post would convey more information in a more polished manner."
However, with regards to A+, The Privileged and The Afflicted all seem equally prone to this.
Is he always so absolutely full of himself?
Never mind that...why is he always in a car??
Well I'm actually male. Must only add to the evil...
Except when particularly pointed to one, as above, I tend to avoid them.
Not only is text better for all the reasons given it particularly suits me as I can quickly find the bits of interest or non-understanding and go over them again. And being really old-fashioned, I can print them out and carry them elsewhere to muse over.
That's not that weird - he's on lunch break, and he may not have wanted to eat where he works.
The other day Rebecca banned someone for disagreeing with her about bicycle safety. Her justification was:

Depends on how you see it. If this is the first time I encountered the guy I suppose that is the view I would have as well. The thing is that he is on the Atheist Experience a lot and people know him through video. Many people ask him to comment on issues and he says that he has no time.
He said that the only time he has that he can dedicate to such issues is during his drive from and to work so he will keep a video journal where he posts his ideas. I don't think the videos are meant to be seen by the general population. Simply by people that know him already and want to know what his opinion is on such matters.
I would consider him a good guy though and the reason I follow him is because I have learned a lot.
FWIW, they (A+) do seem to be contrite about the Cuduggan2k2 affair.
