I recently spent a full weekend with a girlfriend of mine reviewing the Apollo 12 Mission.

Boy howdy, does this sound like a familiar story.

The LM spaceship was not even turned on when the rocketship blasted off. If that was the case, and it was, how could they check the LM spaceship out?

By turning it on and checking it out at the appropriate time in the mission. If you had studied Apollo like you claim, you'd be familiar with these pre-planned checkpoints.

Yea, and the launch cameras didn't show anything either...oh wait, they did. My biggest concern of course is why exactly would 'They' fake a lightning strike anyway.

I'm sure everybody who dealt with that little minor emergency that day would be quite amused at somebody claiming it didn't happen.

The launch was broadcast live, complete with crew reports of the electrical problems from the strike, lightning is blamed live on air by the ground.

The NASA officers in the Kennedy station all denied they saw lightning except for one person. How can only one person see the lightning?

That's correct. Nobody who knows anything about space operations would think that a bunch of controllers would be looking at the bird, or the clouds into which the bird had disappeared, rather than their telemetry. That's what spectators are for.
