2012 Debates

I hope Obama does talk down to Romney.

I hope he thoroughly exposes him for the caustic, job destroying, working class hating, anti-human, anti-intellectual, narcissistic, psychopathic, barely functional moron using the last bit of capability his blood deprived vestigial brain stem allows that he is.

But then again Obama doesn't have to work for my vote. I already hate Romney.

Obama is boring me already.

Romney has a crazed look in his eyes. Desperation?

ETA: What is Lehrer blabbing about? Obama looked at him like "lol wut"

Everything sounds so good, until you realize none of this stuff will ever happen.

I'm not watching but my hope is for Romney to talk about his work to turn around the SLC Olympics immediately followed by Obama pointing out the government funding used to help the effort.

How does Romney always look so wide-eyed and peppy without caffeine?

I'm jealous. Takes me a cup of coffee + a Monster drink just to get going in the morning.

So how can tax cuts not add to the deficit?

Or do I just not understand how taxes and government spending work?

Hmm...to me so far Obama seems more desperate and faltering than does Romney.

Maybe he's just anxious to get the debate over, so he can get on to the anniversary nookie.

Tax cuts plus larger government cuts would do it, right?

Not always..... and certainly not if the government cuts in things like social services are followed by increased government spending on the military.

Wow. Two sentences. The first establishing a position. The second, destroying it.

I certainly agree with this statement. As a Republican, I don't know why we can put forth some military cuts and still be strong as a country.

Some uncharacteristic hesitations and stuttering from Obama.

Romney just looks so.... eager? Doing pretty well but needs to stop cutting off Lehrer.

ETA: Romney laid the scene perfectly for Obama to go to the well and blame Bush. Hope he's ready to spring the trap. Zinger time!
