Homo erectus evolved outside of Africa

Several posts have been moved to AAH for being both off topic and uncivil. Please remember that the motivation of any individual poster is not an appropriate topic of conversation. Motivation is, in any case, irrelevant. A statement is either right or wrong; its truth value does not depend on who speaks it.

Thank you

Pretty certainly all human beings presently alive, ie the "modern" human beings, evolved from the African version of Homo erectus, and spread from Africa across the rest of the world quite recently, replacing the descendants of Homo erectus previously living in Eurasia. For example, following the incursion of modern humans into Europe and Western Asia, the local human type, Neanderthal people, disappeared.

Of all the continents, Africa has by far the greatest genetic variation in its human population. Much more than the rest of the world put together. This can best (or only) be explained on the assumption that the rest of the world is populated by a subset of the original African population.

It's interesting to see racists like yourself making such crude misuse of the multi regional theory, which in itself is not a racist theory, any more than the idea that Europeans made their way into the Americas at an early date is in itself racist. These perversions of scientific hypotheses, like the pseudo-sciences embraced by the Nazis, have a rather disgusting quality.

Multiregional theory implies different species evolved from Homo erectus which were the root races of what we have today and then as different species mixed into modern humans just as the Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon peoples mixed into the present European population.

Does this thread really belong in the science forum?

No, but please continue trying to rationalize your a priori belief.

Now I have found the names of the three root races of mankind.

H. ergaster (Africa), H. erectus (Asia), and H. heidelbergensis (Europe)

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/evolution/humans/humankind/k.html

BTW, if you actually read the articles you are using to validate your "idea" you might learn something.

Homo heidelbergensis: "...which may be the direct ancestor of both Homo neanderthalensis in Europe and Homo sapiens.
So apparently Europeans evolved into Neanderthals. This is news, how?

Wait, three separate species all somehow evolved into a single species? Do you understand how evolution works? At all?

Africans are so radically different from Europeans, I think they should be considered a separate species of humanity much like Neanderthals.

Question: Do you know what the term "species" means?

On a related note, it would appear you don't know what evolution is.

So why do Africans and Europeans have no trouble breeding. But more to the point what is so radical about their differences?

Except genetic evidence suggests you have no idea what you are talking about.

It doesn't even have to be genetic, the simple face that MaGZ hypothesis is that three distinct species evolved into two species is all you need to know it's ridiculous.

If he wants to get into it, we can easily point out what a feat it would be for H. ergaster to evolve into modern day Africans when they went extinct over a million years ago.

Thanks for putting it in a nutshell, Craig B.

Are you quite sure the Neanderthal actually mixed into 'the present European population'?

Africans are so radically different from Europeans, I think they should be considered a separate species of humanity much like Neanderthals.
Could you explain this, please?

Separate species can breed, example Neanderthals and Cro-Magnons.

I have a 600-page book titled Race by John Baker. I recommend it to you.

Yes yes a 30 year old book on cultural anthropology.... The relevance of which is?

And does this book suggest that Africans and Europeans are separate species?

The Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica is over 300 years old.

Very good - I would often lay awake at night wondering how old Newton's books are, thank you for clearing that up. But lets get back to your original dodge. What does a 30 year old book on cultural anthopology has to do with the discussion at hand, or the subtext what makes African European and Asian races (sic) so radically difference

Homo erectus evolved outside of Africa.

It appears the evolutionary process of humanity was well underway outside of Africa which supports the Multiregional theory of evolution of the races.

You would have to show that there were separate originations of homo sapiens sapiens, which you have failed to do so.

And all they found were stone tools at an early date, no evidence for Home erectus evolving outside africa at all.
