FESS is correct, they were still in W105, could they have been? Yes, but at the time we knew nothing of UAL175 at Boston Center, so they were held in W105.

Even after all this time, some parts are just too hard to listen too. One of the documentaries before - the one about the firefighters that had the Naudet footage - was hard to watch too. Yes, I've seen the videos of the victims who jumped from the buildings before, but that doesn't make rewatching it any easier.

No, it also didn't help that Sunday Night Football was also on. But even if it weren't, it was still a tough view for me.

I interpret this transmission as meaning the controller knew the plane was shot down because he knew a fighter was in pursuit.

In this short timeframe how would he had been certain the plane had crashed?

What was the flight number that was grounded that had another set of hijackers who got away? The documentary said they had Al Quada material in their luggage.

I remember from an interview (ABC, I think) the Otis pilots were flying at maximum speed toward NYC. In another news clip, Newark Control said the fighters arrived in NYC just “moments” after the crash of the second plane. They just missed it.

Perhaps the radar return vanishing while the plane is nowhere near a runway could be a hint?

Why? Can you give a short synopsis of what you find noteworthy there?

ETA: It's an interview with Otis pilot Dan Nash, done last year before the 10th anniversary. Actually quite interesting.
At 6:45 he says: "I've read reports later on that we were 70 miles away when the second aircraft hit". So there, MaGZ ;)
At 19:20 - "It took me a while to realize there was basically nothing we could have done ... that even if we had gotten there on time, that no one was gonna tell us to shoot them down, and it wasn't something that we would do by ourselves".
I also find interesting, and recall I had similar thoughts that day, that he believed on the day that many more people must have died - he was thinking 30,000.

Face palm. You mean Atta's luggage? I'm not sure crashing into the WTC constitutes "getting away" but it shows that you've got the type of research skills that really make people stand up and say "MaGZ is really a heck of researcher....LOLZ"

Why is the video titled "UFO"? How many civilians can identify a military vs civvie plane on sight, especially in shock? What about all the other videos and physical evidence showing that no, it was a civlian plane?

Urr, no ... but what would be wrong with that? Nash clearly expresses what burdened him, how, when and why he found closure with some of the questions in his mind, and what will continue to burden him - just having been an up-close witness of such a tragedy is burden enough, don't you think?
Interestingly, Nash isn't shy to voice some not so government friendly opinions about the political fall-out.

But actually I had the opposite impression: That the interviewer wanted to get Nash to admit that he did feel burdened by thoughts that they could have done something differently and prevent the catastrophy - suggestions that Nash clearly rejects.

Source? A youtube video is not a valid source. Can you find a valid source for this?
 
Ooops replied to an earlier message. Controllers at Boston Center were in contact with the F-15's from Otis, and knew nothing about the UAL175 Hijack, until the aircraft hit the tower. The F-15's were then handed off to new York Center controllers who then cleared them over the city. This probably took about 3 minutes.

Odds are this is conflated from the discovery of such materials in Atta's luggage. Please feel free to provide evidence supporting your claim otherwise.
