...The wooden cross (or crosses – to include those used for the two thieves) is now in Heaven. On Judgment Day, the cross will go down from Heaven to Earth followed by Jesus.
That is most remarkable information, PC.
Where did you obtain it?
The cross underwent Ascension, or even Bodily (or at least Physical) Assumption, and so did the thieves' crosses!! I think it's time for the Pope infallibly to instruct his long-suffering flock to believe these things. Otherwise they won't.
Perhaps PC should write to His Holiness about that.
I do not know if it is the nail for the hand or the foot or the sign was thrown into the sea when Pontius Pilate died to calm a storm. This nail miraculously floated and ended up in Paris which Saint James found. ...
I didn't know Paris was founded by St James. I was under the impression it was founded in the 3rd century BCE.
Live and learn.
...It was the disciple John the Baptist who Jesus loved. It was John the Baptist who was with the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM) when Jesus was crucified. ... It was John the Baptist to whom Jesus addressed while on the cross, “Behold thy mother!” ...FYI, the author of the gospel of John is John the Baptist.
Who was wed at Cana (John 2:1-12)? It was John the Baptist. Why was the BVM present during the wedding? Why was she concerned about the wine?
That is amazing reading, PC.
So John the Baptist was at the crucifixion and wrote the gospel often attributed to St John?
When was he beheaded, then?
Before or after Pontius Pilate was cast into the sea?
Thanks for telling about all this, PC.
A round of Dom for all!
